Digital Angel Revisited

by Vicki Blackmore

The “Digital Angel” is currently being marketed by Applied Digital Solutions as a wireless web-enabled wristwatch to monitoring people with health concerns, parolee’s, pets and travelers. Here in the United States, health related concerns seem to be the most likely reason someone would utilize the Digital Angel, (other than tracking parolees), but South of the border fear of kidnapping is a huge concern reports, Smart Business magazine in their News and Trends section, (see www.smartbusinessmag.com ) According to Richard J. Sullivan, chairman and CEO of Applied Digital, "The demand for products that add safety and security to everyday life is particularly strong in Latin America as a result of its political, economic, and social climate."

A wristwatch however is removable, and parolees and kidnappers could easily remove them and continue on their merry way. To combat this potential, Applied Digital Solutions has now come up with the VeriChip, a “Miniaturized, Implantable Identification Technology with Emergency, Healthcare and Security Applications.”

According to Applied Digital Solutions web site, hundreds of thousands of medical devices are surgically implanted into patients every year. Examples of these include pacemakers, artificial joints, orthopedic hardware heart valves and medication pumps. These devices often require adjustment repair replacement or recall, and their tiny “VeriChip” inserted under the skin can be scanned with a handheld VeriChip scanner which will access remote databases with information about implants, the persons health history and other relevant information, providing people, medical providers and manufactures with a rapid, secure and non-invasive method of obtaining medical and medical device information. Future applications may include full medical record archival/retrieval for emergency medical care. Another use is an alternative to “biometric” technologies which identify individuals by their unique biological or physical characteristics such as fingerprints, voiceprints, retina characteristics and face recognition points. Because the “VeriChip” relies on imbedded, tamper-proof microchip technology it allows for non-invasive identification. The threat of theft, loss, duplication or counterfeiting of data is reduced or eliminated. VeriChip, according to Applied Digital Solutions is “An implantable, 12mm by 2.1mm radio frequency device, VeriChip is about the size of the point of a typical ballpoint pen. It contains a unique verification number. Utilizing an external scanner, radio frequency energy passes through the skin energizing the dormant VeriChip, which then emits a radio frequency signal containing the verification number. The number is displayed by the scanner and transmitted to an FDA compliant secure data storage site by authorized personnel via telephone or Internet“ .It also has various law enforcement and search-and-rescue applications

Would one of these applications include a form of National Identification? Newsmax is reporting a bill to introduced by Virginia congressmen, Democrat Jim Moran and Republican Tom Davis to create standardized State Drivers Licenses and identification cards carrying a computer chip and a form of biometrics (i.e. fingerprints). The bill also mandates that state databases be linked. Although they are coming short of the term “National ID,” the effect would be the same. Rep. Jane Harman, D-Calif., said the United States needed "smart card technology." "I think we need increased use of biometrics so that we're sure a person using some form of identification is in fact the person on the identification. Obviously to get there and to rely on it, you need to know the person who is applying for the piece of identification is in fact who she says she is." Harman, a member of the Select Committee on Intelligence and an acknowledged expert on counterterrorism, said the identification needed to be connected to national databases to check on the background of applicants for a driver's permit.

I wonder if the Congressmen and Congresswomen are aware of the potential for loss or theft of these identification cards. I am certain Applied Digital Solutions would be happy to enlighten them.

This is bolonia.  The gov is making it so that illegals can get driver's licenses.

This is all about people control.  You can read all about it in Revelation 13:16-17.

16     He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,
17     so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
They can control everything.  Finances (food, shelter, gas, etc.).  Movement (from city to city, state to state).  Medical care.  Employment.  Everything.
