So? There's Mormon influence on Capital Hill. There's also organized Jewish influence, Muslim influence, Catholic influence, etc.
Why shouldn't the Mormons get their share of influence? No Morman has piloted any planes into any US buildings or fired upon any US ships, and the Mormons owe no allegience to any religious headquarters outside the US, which is more than can be said about the other religions I listed.
First I do not place the Mormons in the same category as the Jews, the Catholics, the Protestant and to some degree Islam. They're roots do not go back anywhere near these other religions. LDS is suppose to be a religious organization, but they seem to be very active in forming data bases that are outside they're own beliefs and groups. Finally, they being a religious organization should not be getting involved with the US Government Information Systems outside the realm of a religious organization in any shape or form.
For your information NO Catholics, Protestant, Jewish and even Islamic Religious organization, Church or Temple ever flew an aircraft into any buildings either.
