Nice try. Did you read it? The things done in the article are done by SICK TWISTED PERVERTS and DEVIANTS, and it does not matter if they are "gay or straight".
There is no way this qualifies as a church. I am interested in their IRS standing.
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were(that means they quit practicing these things) some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. I Corinthians 6:9-11
Homosexuals and sodomites will NOT go to heaven. Yes, I'm also doing my part to not do any of the other things in that list also.
With the exception of fisting, everything else described in the article is done by heterosexuals as well. Most Christians probably object to branding your partner with a hot iron whether that partner is a male or female, inside a church or outside it. That it is being taught in a supposedly christian church only makes the evil a little more satanic.
Hopefully, the writers problem is with the classes being held in a church, not the content of the classes. You approve of fisting, whipping, branding, and otherwise brutalizing a lover? Personally, I do have a problem with the content of the classes, they are immoral.

No, no...that "workshop's" not until next month...
I can't find where the Bible condemns such things, so long as they're practiced consensually within the context of marriage.
Shame on you, dude!
As far as my approval of other people's sex lives, I'm not really interested in the subject. I don't really care what other people do in their sex lives, whether they're fisting, whipping, branding or licking whipped cream off each other.Im not interested in what they are doing either, but I will call the things described in the article immoral because they are. That is Im not interested unless you consider reading this article and posting a comment to be interest, in which case it appears that you are interested as well.
I had never heard of any branding as having anything to do with sex before.Did you read the article? Do some research on S&M Branding. It is out there.
I know many professional athletes, some of whom profess publicly to be Christian, have brands.First, do you mean branded with a hot brand like a steer, with a tattoo, or by endorsing Nike? Second, I stopped taking theology lessons from athletes a while back, about the same time I stopped taking political lessons from actors, and morality lessons from politicians. I dont care what some athletes do, their actions dont make it moral or immoral.

So in your view, so long as there isnt a specific Bible verse that says no branding your wife and its consensual, its OK?You approve of fisting, whipping, branding, and otherwise brutalizing a lover? Personally, I do have a problem with the content of the classes, they are immoral.I can't find where the Bible condemns such things, so long as they're practiced consensually within the context of marriage.
I guess I take a bit different view of morality, and dont require God to provide a laundry list saying no branding your wife, in order to recognize that such a practice violates her human dignity.
I also require a bit more than mere consensus to believe the act is moral. Two people can agree that the first should kill the second, but it still is murder, and still (in this case) violates explicit commands in the Bible (since you seem to be bringing that book into the discussion).

9Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
13 Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. 15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." 17But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 18Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body
If you don't see the obvious inconsistency of those words with the degrading practices mentioned above, I think you need to have your eyes examined.
You KNOW they are not worshipping the TRUE God who is revealed in His Word, The Bible. ". . . by their fruits ye shall know them" (the true followers of Jesus).
Nonsense. Can you imagine "fisting" a temple of the Holy Spirit? Branding one with an iron? Various other degrading, sick activities? Well: that's what a Christian spouse is, a temple of the Holy Spirit. Christ's property, bought and paid for.
Lust is a sin that can be committed within marriage as well as without.
Where does the Bible teach that?
