Is it just me feeling surreal here or isn't it patently obvious that a whole lot of people are desparate for this NOT to be the work of islamic terrorists mainly since that would give more impetus to the president in his war on terror which has shattered the hopes of the Gore-Won crowd and others who have been cowering in fear since W's rise in popularity? The media has an INSTINCTIVE call that the attacks must be home grown and there are a lot - maybe a majority - of key people in important positions throughout the government that were appointed during the past disgraceful decade.
