I read very little of our liberal south Florida press, but have seen enough about this poor guy I thought he was guilty. Now I have changed my mind, at least about the evidence against him and the way he has been treated. I admire his courage for fighting back. Too many of us are supporting anything the administration does sort of like the Clinton backers did ,I'm afraid.

I've dealt with different bureaucracies at various times. It's no picnic. I don't even like to get a parking ticket. But my point is that if there were twenty persons of interest, he was not singled out, meaning as "the only one".

Fox News channel now reports that the FBI does not comment on matters like this. Of course not - legally, that would be more leaking. Maybe they're after someone else who's a person of interest and the twenty number is window dressing.

Today, he stated "I am not the anthrax killer." But, maybe he's a person of interest because unbeknownst to him, someone else he knew is a suspect and that person is in the group of twenty also.

It will make more sense later on. Meanwhile, he's going to try to make trouble for Ashcroft with the help of a dem klintoon type attorney. You know when something gets broken at home and all the kids quickly say "not me". This is what we have here. It doesn't mean the entire group of 20 are innocent but the other 19 aren't holding press conferences. Does this guy want to write a book or something?

Hatfill may be an innocent pawn in a clinton holdover setup of Ashcroft. Look at how successful he was today in convincing everyone that Ashcroft is a bad guy. The clinton holdovers in the FBI, at justice and the DNC would love to bring Ashcroft down. This may be step one.

Wait until the Senate gets back from vacation. They FINALLY have an issue for the primaries and then the November elections. You see, this is not just about Hatfill IMO. It's scorched earth politics. They can't get Dubya's poll numbers down and they are desperate to hold on to seats in November. Attacking Dubya hasn't worked so, Aschcroft is next - it seems to be more effective.

Further, I am not a broken glass Republican. I filled out my RNC census form and I criticized the RNC for being more centrist than I like and for not supporting the more conservative candidates in primaries. And, those weren't even on the survey. I added those comments in red magic marker lol. FV
