Are they still unionized and allowed to wear beards? I was in Bamberg from 1979-1982 and trained with some of them in Graf. Some were professional and some should have remained in the rathskeller where they were better suited for duty.

Just came back to Belgium from a week in Mannhiem/Hiedleburg Area. First, let me state that the German People are PO'd at their leadership. Second, most Germans want the US to give the inspectors more time.
The dying shrieks of Socialist are being herd from France, Germany and Belgium... High unemployment and now the loss of their most profitable trade partner (Iraq) is putting the squeeze on European Socialist governments. Bush is forcing a political-economical-military campaign against the Euro with a low dollar, which further hurts these Axis of Weasels.

Starting today, take one or two German products to the front checkout counter with your other stuff; then, in front of and within ear shot of other shoppers, say "oh my. Hey, this one's MADE IN GERMANY. We don't want it". HAHA! Funny you should mention that. My wife and I have been doing just so with French products and have been getting many people to put wines, cheese, water and other French or French-owned products back on the shelf. And in NYC, no less!
Let's all do the same to the German Nazis.

Germany says its troops will not come to the rescue of American soldiers if they invade Iraq and face a chemical or biological attack there. Interesting. So, if/when Iraq demonstrates that it has not disarmed by gassing the coalition troops, our "friends" the Germans, will not do anything to help us.
At least it is consistent with their position in the UN--the position of hiding their spike-helmeted heads in the sand.

That said, the problem is the socialists, and there as many such left-wing socialists in the United States --- which socialists oppose our moving against Saddam Hussein --- as there are such socialists in Germany and in France combined. No excuse. Britain is governed by socialists and we're in the front line.

I saw a video clip of Colon Powell yesterday and he made some kind of statement about when the battle is over we would look around and see who was standing there with us. Then he said something about those who aren't will be delt with accordingly.

THAT should be publicized more. I did not even know he had said that. Kudos to him!
Get our troops out of Germany and let the Russians roll in!

1999 - American's lead air war to save Kosovo as Germans watch from the sidelines.
Correction - Germany sent lots'a planes to bomb Serbia. Germany love bombing Slavs and Christians in general. Ditto for Jews. It's the bombing of poor oppressed Islamic terrorist that breaks their hearts and brings them to tears.

Me thinks that the American people are going to be the ones that slap the Germans and their good buddies, the gutless French with a buying/travel boycout. I know I`m not going to vacation in the south of France this year.
