He's great at casting for roles like this..

Yes, He is.

That's far greater than some overpaid athlete making an impossible catch to win the World Series...

That's the absolute truth.

My son fell out of his 2nd story bedroom window (climbed on play table and fell through screen) when he was 21mos old. He bounced off of a hedge before landing on the soft ground (it had been raining)just missing concrete landing scaping slabs. He broke his arm and some ribs. Miracle.
I am glad that this man was there.

“He’s always been very sensitive to the family in the loss that they’ve suffered. Unfortunately, he could never express that publicly or personally to them while this thing was pending,” he said.
I understand that it might complicate his case, but sometimes one has to do what is right.

and we have no idea what carpio's like outside of this event, but i hope he tries to live up to this good fortune.
Somehow, I have a feeling that he does.

Two children on two balconies.
Two "men" who can behave to protect those children.
Michael makes me sick.

What a great story! Warms the heart and another reminder that God is always there.

You know there are one or two lawyers calling the boy's parents and explaining that they might have a cause of action because of Caprio's negligence because of that bump on the head.

You're right. And that makes me sick.

Including Clapton on your sarcastic suspect list goes beyond poor taste.

I'm glad that your son was not more seriously hurt, as I am glad that Carpio was there.

In your comment #14 I can see a marker for a graphic, but my computer isn't opening it up?

Far greater, and the actions of the humble Manuel Carpio are those of a real hero and role model.

The NOW gang's worst nightmare.

A surviving child, and a man being a father.

God bless the guy!

Apartments suck. They are dangerous for kids and generally contain lots of freewheeling freaks...One man's floor is another man's ceiling....Aint no way to live. Worker barracks etc....

On the other hand, it was a good catch.
