TEHRAN, Iran - Iran's foreign minister said Friday that the al-Qaida operatives Iran now has in custody were arrested before the May 12 suicide bombings in Saudi Arabia and couldn't have been involved in the attacks.

"There is no possibility that they were able to do any (bombing) operation nor could they lead these kind of military operations," Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi told reporters at one of several impromptu news conferences he's held recently to counter American accusations that his country is failing to fight terrorism. "When they are in prison all their connections are cut with the outside."

"We aren't saying that al-Qaida people the Iranians have put in jail are doing this," said one official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. "It's the ones who aren't in jail that are the problem."

No kidding.

The Iranian Mullahs were trying at their hand at playing word cutesy (hope that makes sense) !

" Since they were in Iran they couldn't be in Riyadh and therefore had nothing to do with the bombings"

Of course the planners never stick around for the show!

This is the whacko Islamaniac mindset we are up against. Targeting and murdering innocent people in their residences is considered a "military operation" by the Iranian Foreign Minister. Sure answers the question of "who's next" for me.

Check. The mullahs time is nearly up. Once a terrorist, always a terrorist. They're not foolin' anyone.

Maybe the arrest/killing? of the clerics in Saudi Arabia, will make them show their stripes...

My God needs no slaves, he has plenty of willing servants...
