The FBI has posted the gun used by Brian Wells, the man who robbed the bank in Erie, Pennsylvania and died when the neck bomb he was wearing detonated.

Someone knows who the maker is. He's probably pretty well known for making junkyard contraptions.

With knowledge of guns and machine tools it's not very dificult to build a gun. It's a strange design. It doesn't look balanced. How can you get any accuracy with it?

No one says it really shoots (or have they). I'd label him "the junkyard killer".

I wonder if there is a dump nearby although every machine shop is its' own dump.

James Bond was threatened by one of these in Casino Royale (the book, not the movie). IIRC, it was a single shot .45. Of course, Bond took it away from his assailant.

A "dump" is a dump is a dump.

You can get parts for cars and refrigeration at "junkyards" and "scrapyards" but not many gun parts can be found there.
