- maybe Nurse Cratchet should apply for the job? I yhad the proper spelling character's name wrong, it's "Ratched" not "Ratchet". However, when I saw some very well respected commontator's call her by the same mispelling, I was estatic.

Saw this on "The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson". Johnny asked Louise Fletcher if it was Nurse Ratchet or Ratched. She confirmed that the correct name of her "Cuckoo's Nest" character is Nurse Ratched. Just some trivia to throw at people.
