"The Bible is literature, not dogma." - George Santayana
The number and types of Conservative Christians, representing a myriad of sects and denominations, who view homosexuality with varying degrees of moral approbation, cover the Condemnation Continuum. First to be noticed, abounding with pompous moralizing, is latter day Pharisee, Dr. James Dobson. He takes his place among the Fallwells and Robertsons for his bumptious buffoonery in "outing" Sponge Bob Square Pants. To quote Maureen Dowd: "What in the name of Davy Jones locker would a sponge be doing holding hands with a starfish or donning purple and pink garb if it weren't a perverted invertebrate?" Dr. Dobson rates an innocuous 2.5 on the C.C. meter.
Further along the Condemnation Continuum we have Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger registering somewhere between 4 and 7 on our 10 point scale.

after reading the whole article, im sorry that i did
hmmm....well if its just literature then I geuss reading it in a public school would not violate the ole church and state thing. LOL!
No, we cannot have absolutes! Absolutes leave no loopholes with which I can keep sins and perversions and still get to heaven. No, we cannot let anything written in the Bible keep us out of heaven. The whole idea is preposterous.
Anybody re-read the Ten Suggestions lately?
