People around the world now have a new way to learn about Joseph Smith, the founder and first president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A film called Joseph Smith: The Prophet of the Restoration is now available online, marking the first time the Church has shared a full-length film on the Internet.
I hope you enjoy!
It’s only 7:30 AM, way to early to watch sci fi and eat popcorn.
Does it have the part in there about the planet Kolob and the part where Joe Smith, Jr., sits next to Jesus to determine whether we go to heaven when we die? Huh?
It's April Fool's Day!
There, fixed it.
thanks PD, it looks like a great film!
You so crazy!
Don’t you know that any questions you raise about Momonism is an attack?
Also, please don’t bring any proof or facts that these claims are false. That’s just mean spirited. Remember, it’s about feelings, not fact. FEELINGS!
Yeah, I know. But it’s like 12:30am here (Aussieland), couldn’t sleep, tired. What was I thinking??? Maybe if I got a soft copy of the BOM, used it as a pillow I’d absorb the truth???
This one sums it up - Praise to the Man!
Will lds ever praise Jesus Christ of the Bible?
Instead of Joseph Smith the con artist (nine versions of the first visions), the muck raker (trying to over through the US Constitution), thief (stealing land and property from his followers), the fraud (setting up a bogus bank), the adulterer ("marring" 33 women), the pedophile (taking 14 yr olds as "brides"), the murderer (shoot out at the jail he was in), the flim flam man (peep stone "Bible" translations), the deceiver (bogus Egyptian translations), secret rituals, mysterious ceremonies, polygamy...........
As long as lds worship Joseph Smith and not the Biblical Christ they will be enslaved by lies.
I’ll let it go this time.
But one more slip up and you get a planet that is only moon sized when you become a spirit baby again!
When the title of the thread has in parenthesis “(Real Mormon/LDS)” what is that supposed to mean?
Are there fake Mormons or fake LDS?
Is this a Mormon/LDS only thread?
Yep, amazing how when you quote directly from lds sources it is an attack on lds. It is amazing when you provide links to these quotes, it is an attack on lds. It is amazing when you ask any question it is an attack on lds. It is amazing when you compare and contrast Bible to the BoM it is an attack.
Do you think they have a Sunday School class that teaches them that everything is an attack on lds?
Mormons are the elast of my worries, there are several other more dangerous religions who are also political movements to worry about first.
Once we start seeing white shirted tie wearing men on bicycles yelling “Joeseph Smith is great” and blowing themselves up at train stations and forcing Jell-O down the freshly severed necks of the non-believers and making their women wear tents.
Only then I start worrying about the “Mormon Menace”
Aaah SVCW... king of the Strawman Attackers Gang (SAG)today it would seem...
Do you expect people to believe that we worship Joseph Smith? It takes very little effort to learn otherwise.
You need to look here. You are being misled as is obvious by your worn out propaganda.
Heres a few links to get your started from a different viewpoint. I have found that the vast majority of the issues brought up in the anti-Mormon propaganda can be found and addressed at http://www.fairlds.org/ but heres more:
[ I’ll have to view the video later - I’m off to planet Kolob for a little R&R with my main squeeze! ]
I hear Krypton is a lot nicer, but make sure to bring you SPF 1,000,000,000,000. Because having the sun explode can really give you a bad sunburn.
[ Does it have the part in there about the planet Kolob and the part where Joe Smith, Jr., sits next to Jesus to determine whether we go to heaven when we die? Huh? ]
I would rather go to Planet Vulcan to be judged, I think Mr. Spock would be very logical about where to send me after I kick the bucket....
Actually they watch videos of their leaders that are sent to their wards once a quarter or so. They also watch them at home on the net.
These videos do give marching orders for the “defence” of the cult.
They have a name for these days but I can’t remember what they are.
Most of the indoctrination you’re asking about happens at the college level and at mission training.
And once again you refer people to unofficial lds sources, that as we have discussed do not answer questions, which leads me to believe you have never actually looked at these links.
Point out what I posted that was wrong, just pick one. There is documentation for everything I posted, and it has been presented to you hundreds of times.
Just pick one of the things I said and prove it to be wrong.
