Charismatic mega Church prosperity teacher Joel Osteen brands the US President as «A good Christian, who is doing a good job in a difficult time.

These questions came to mind while watching Joel Osteen and his lovely wife, Victoria, on CNN’s “Larry King Live” last week. King pointed out that many Americans are still confused about Obama’s religion and asked, «Does it matter?»
«Well, it matters to me,« said Osteen. «It matters to me that I know he loves the Lord, and I think it’s important that he has convictions from his faith. So to me, it matters when I’m making my personal decisions».
Mrs. Osteen weighed in, too: «It does. It matters to me. … I believe he is a Christian».

Of course he says that. In feel-good, no obligation Christianity, everyone is a nice guy doing a good job. I mean, you wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Never heard of Olateen till Sirius radio started ads about his show. Not really interested in him.
Ostend does not have a divinity degree, no in-depth studies of the Bible.
His religious philosophy is a combination of the ‘prosperity’ theology and “Bill and Teds” ‘be good to each other’. It is cloaked in Christian cloth but is not based in Christianity.
I loathe Joel Osteen—CINO (Christian in Name Only). He’s a charlatan of the highest order.
Think about it: Why would any man claiming to worship the ONE TRUE GOD, want you to have “your best life now”?
He’s responsible for millions going to hell IMO.

Someone really needs to pull this guy aside and have a talk with him. Much experience preaching but obviously a little naive from a life of prosperity from youth to present. I hate to say it but Osteen appears to be an LIV and that’s a bad thing to be if your words are preached to hundreds of thousands from the pulpit every week.
On his TV presentations that I saw several years ago but no longer can receive, this household perceived in unison that his is a different Gospel than Paul’s.
What is a “LIV” ? Thank-you!
So. I’m just throwin’ it out there. Is Joel Osteen possibly under investigation for fraud or something? Anything where the discretion of the Department of Justice could be of help to him?
I would like to hear his definition of a Christian. It might not pass a Biblical test. The Obungler is no more a Christian than Kim Jong Un.
