Was Politician Forced Into Mental Institution for “Islamophobia”?

One tactic Soviet-bloc countries would use to stifle dissidents was involuntary confinement to mental institutions. After all, you have to be crazy to oppose state ideology, right? Now, though, 26 years after the Berlin Wall’s fall comes a similar shocking story — from well west of where the wall stood.

It is alleged that a French mayor has been involuntarily confined to a mental asylum for “Islamophobia.”

The story involves Robert Chardon, mayor of the southern French town of Venelles; the problems began when, participating in a public Twitter discussion initiated by former French president Nicolas Sarkozy, the mayor proposed a prohibition against Islam in France. As the Express reports:

[Chardon] tweeted: "We must ban the Muslim faith in France."

He called for the country to removal [sic] a secularism law dating back to 1905 — and instead "promote the practice of the Christian faith".

Chardon added: "We also need a Marshall Plan to send Muslims to countries where the religion is practiced."

… He later explained to the newspaper La Monde that his plan is "the only solution for most of France's problems".

towards the end of the article you read that a Muslim in Italy punched a 12 year old girl in the face for wearing a crucifix. That the Danes paid unemployment benefits to a large number of men who had gone to fight with Isis and there was more. God please forgive me ahead of time but if I see someone punching a girl wearing a crucifix regardless of his age I will destroy him. I will then hope for the best in confession

Barack and Hillary had a guy thrown into prison for allegedly making an anti-Islamic film.

Why would you need a confession? I fail to understand why it would be considered sinful. Alternately, become a Protestant and then skip confession.

Islamophobia is a made-up concept. It is not “phobia” if there is REAL reason to fear the source of the consternation and dread. That would be like saying there is a “phobia” about the plague, or an invasion of your neighborhood by wolves or grizzly bears.

The bearded men with the burning eyes are not open to or amenable to reason or compromise. Like maddened and ravening wolves, they have only one objective in mind - the domination over all other lesser creatures, using them as a means to support themselves in all ways, by reducing those not of the same mindset as themselves to the state of very real slaves. Or very dead.

And even within the mindset, there is little consensus, as bearded men with burning eyes will turn on other bearded men with burning eyes, for even a very small difference in interpretation of their “holy” Koran, to which there may be no critical thinking applied, as this is another offense for which the death penalty applies.

and there should have been massive protests over that. but female empowerment, whatever that word means, black power and letting the dreamers become citizens are all more important then this country’s basic liberties nowadays

Not IslamoPHOBIA (fear of Islam), but

IslamoMISIA (hatred of Islam).

Let's not let the barbarians hijack the terms of our discussion.

***Islamophobia is a made-up concept.***

The proper term would be Islamomisia, a revulsion or disgust of islam.

Same for homomisia, a revulsion to sodomites.
