Just a note.

The website is WorshiptheKing.org.

This is NOT connected in any way to Worship the King.com. If you try the .com address, it will not get you anywhere.

This is very good news metmom. Thank you for posting. I went to Syracuse University and years ago and graduated from the engineering college. It is a stunningly beautiful campus. Like most colleges and universities in the past 25 years, it fell under the wicked spell of political correctness in many aspects. About 20 years ago, the University barred the Boy Scouts of America from using the carrier down because of their events stance against homosexuals scout leaders. I was outraged at the University and I wrote and told them so. I also spoke to one of my friends on the faculty. Unfortunately, Syracuse was only following the lead of every other university in that regard.

But now to see this, and actual Christian courage and leadership at the University, is very encouraging. Praise be to God. And may their example shine throughout the land. There is a madness going on in this country, a demonic madness. And we must fight it. Pray for the chancellor, and for this event.

There are many more good things happening on this campus that I am not free to share at the moment on the public forum but will come to light in the near future.

Yes, do pray for the campus and especially the new chancellor, who is a godly man and standing against politically correct nonsense.

God is clearly working there.

You opined, “There is a madness going on in this country, a demonic madness.” It is interesting to note that you see it because you have spiritual discernment, yet those who do not have that cannot even acknowledge that you discern from a source not carnal.

Pinging the End Times ping list

Could we be seeing a city known for it’s wickedness actually starting to repent ?

(2 Chronicles 7:14) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

(Luke 4:17) And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

(Luke 4:18) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

(Luke 4:19) To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

I’m hoping they are uniting for the right reasons.
I’m just weary of the whole Ecumenical approach that many are taking these days such as the World Council of Churches and World Vision (who has been busted siphoning money to Hamas.

I would be careful not to become unequally yoked to the movement to create a One World Religion to be put in place for the AntiChrist.

Good point!

I have close connections to the people involved in this and not, it is not an ecumenical feel good thing.

They are making sure there’s a clear salvation message being preached and a good number of the churches involved in this are very solid Bible preaching churches.

I understand your concerns and that is something the people involved really want to avoid.

I hope it can remain that way and not devolve into one world religion nonsense.

So far this is just planned on being a one time event.

God is clearly working there...

That is wonderful news. A few years ago, this Methodist-founded college actually selected a Wiccan as its spiritual leader.

At one time recently, SU had hired a pagan for their chaplain. She has since been let go.

Syracuse University welcomes the pagans

I thought it was a Wiccan as well.

Someone told me that she was not so I looked into it.

Same difference, though, in my book. That’s probably why I was confused. Or maybe someone actually said that somewhere and we recall hearing it.
