Forbidden To Speak About Sin

On September 14, 2016, at the monthly formation of the clergy of the diocese of Perugia, my cardinal said:

“I would like to say something that I forgot to tell you, but I feel it is important. Because I myself had to reflect a lot on this to convince myself. When you read it in this way I will have tried to give you an explanation. It is number 301 of Amoris Laetitia, where the pope explicitly says: “It is can no longer simply be said that all those in any “irregular” situation are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace”. And then he continues: “There can exist factors that limit the possibility of decision and of responsibility”.

“Look at this, this is something that should be underlined, because we often do this…, and we say that they live in conditions of mortal sin. This, we cannot say according to the Magisterium of the Church.”

“And the pope motivates this with what, with the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults, no. 302, which says: “Imputability and responsibility for an action can be diminished or even nullified by ignorance, inadvertence, duress, fear, habit, inordinate attachments, and other psychological or social factors” (CCC 1735).”

“The pope knows the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults. I do not know if we sometimes, when we criticize the documents, know perfectly the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults. If they cannot receive communion, it is because there are irregular, also according to canon law. And because you cannot construct a sacrament, which is the sacrament of the Eucharist which unites, on the ashes of another sacrament. Not because we go along thinking, and the first thing that we think about, is that they are in the state of mortal sin. This we do not have the right. Because in the depth of the conscience only God reads. I say this as teacher, and also as doctor of the faith in as far as I am a bishop. Because I must correct also certain positions which sometimes are in some of you. I know that some of you do not share these things. But if you do not share these things, before speaking or writing or sending documents around, become informed with the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults. Study in depth Catholic theology. And then open your mouth.”

“Another aspect of this is from Benedict XVI, in Veritatis Splendor. I believe that if someone doubts that he is not a good theologian, he is greatly mistaken. Benedict says, always precise: “Circumstances or intentions can never transform an act intrinsically evil by virtue of its object into an act "subjectively" good or defensible as a choice” (no. 81).”

(The cardinal is mistaken; Veritatis Splendor is an encyclical by Pope John Paul II)

“The Pope says that what is before evil is evil. And things should be called out by name, from the theological and moral point of view.”

“But – says Veritatis Splendor – the imputability and responsibility for an action can be diminished or even nullified by ignorance, inadvertence, duress, fear, habit, inordinate attachments, and other psychological or social factors”.

(Again the cardinal is mistaken, this phrase is from Amoris Latitia, no. 302)

“This is the doctrine of the Church. Therefore do not say to anyone: “You are in mortal sin”. You can say, based on what I verified and what has happened in life, you are in an irregular position in regards to the Church, let us see.”

“But the talk though, must always be done starting with the right premises.”

“Forgive me but this thing is really what I wanted to say in a clear way. Here it is. Because there is going around strongly things against the magisterium of the pope on this. You do not do this. No! This make me…”

“Now I do not want to be polemical. I spoke strongly, because sometimes the truth should be said with force, you see!”

- - - - - - -

My cardinal said: “I say this as teacher, and also as doctor of the faith in as far as I am a bishop.” I did not know that all the bishops are doctors of the Church!?! Is the Church the Author of the Truth or the handmaid of the Truth?!? When Pope John Paul II spoke to the bishops in September 1987, he did not say to the bishops that they must “obey me as Pope”, but “dissent from the Magisterium” of the Catholic Church!

POPE JOHN PAUL II (AMONG MANY OTHER OCCASIONS) SPOKE FIRMLY TO THE US BISHOPS AGAINST THIS "PICK AND CHOOSE SMORGASBORD TYPE CATHOLICISM" in LA in his September 1987 visit: "It is sometimes reported that a large number of Catholics today do not adhere to the teaching of the Church on a number of questions, notably sexual and conjugal morality, divorce and remarriage. Some are reported as not accepting the Church's clear position on abortion. It has also been noted that there is a tendency on the part of some Catholics to be selective in their adherence to the Church's moral teachings. It is sometimes claimed that dissent from the Magisterium is totally compatible with being a “good Catholic” and poses no obstacle to the reception of the sacraments. THIS IS A GRAVE ERROR that challenges the teaching office of the bishops of the United States and elsewhere. I wish to encourage you in the love of Christ to address this situation courageously in your pastoral ministry, relying on the power of God's truth to attract assent and on the grace of the Holy Spirit which is given both to those who proclaim the message and to those to whom it is addressed." (http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/speeches/1987/september/documents/hf_jp-ii_spe_19870916_vescovi-stati-uniti_en.html).

It is interesting that Pope John Paul II did not say to the bishops that they must obey me as Pope, but “dissent from the Magisterium” of the Catholic Church! Lumen Gentium 25 teaches clearly that the documents of an ecumenical council ARE INFALLIBLE (CCC 891). The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 888-892) tell us that the doctrines of the Church are essential to arrive to sanctity. “When the Church through its supreme Magisterium proposes a doctrine “for belief as being divinely revealed,” and as the teaching of Christ, the definitions “must be adhered to with the obedience of faith.” This infallibility extends as fare as the deposit of divine Revelation itself” (CCC 891). But to the ordinary teaching of the Church “the faithful are to adhere to it with religious assent” which, though distinct from the assent of faith, is nonetheless an extension of it” (CCC 892). Thus the documents in an ecumenical council express in human language the absolute truths which cannot be changed, EVEN BY A FUTURE POPE FOR APPARENTLY GOOD MOTIVES TO MAKE THE NON CATHOLICS FEEL MORE AT EASE or for non practicing Catholics; this would be false ecumenism, false mercy, false love, which offers a superficial and easy solution without the cross of Jesus, but afterwards there is slavery and destruction!

- - -

The cardinal said: “Because there is going around strongly things against the MAGISTERIUM OF THE POPE on this”.

This is why “there is going around strongly things against the Magisterium of the pope”, because the Magisterium is not of the Pope but of the Body of Christ, the Church! And the Church is the handmaid of the Truth, not the Author of the Truth!!!

It seems to me that the effect of Amoris Laetitia, no. 301, is not to help people form their consciences for the true good of souls, but to confirm “Ignorance is Bliss” as if the Ten Commandments are not for our true good but for our evil!?! A great number of priests and bishops today, pushed on by “Pope Francis”, are eager to find excuses for objective sinful acts, instead of helping people to realize and believe that God gave us the Ten Commandments for our true good, and to help them live the saving laws of God with the help of the sacraments and sincere prayer. Sincere pray means to live the Our Father, not just say the words: “THY will be done”. How many people today, totally immersed in the deadly poison of relativism that surrounds us today, live the words of the Our Father: “MY will be done”?!? How many adults never had a true Christian father who gave the example of self-discipline so as to be able to sacrifice ones self for his wife, his family and his society around him. Thus there are a great number of adults who have remained spoiled arrogant children, and believe this egotistical lifestyle is normal. It is normal for the world but this life style does not exist in heaven, but only in hell. The first goal of secular feminism, the right arm of Satan’s attack on the family, is to eliminate the father from the family! Look at how the TV today portrays fathers and men in general!?! Look at the message given by the TV to women, to not inspire their husbands but to seduce and ridicule their husbands and men in general so as to cause the war of the sexes, to destroy the fundamental cell of society, the family! Where are the true pastors to warn and protect the sheep from these hidden but very powerful poison of the wolf dressed in sheep’s clothing, even as priests and bishops?!? Where are the true Christian pastors ready to lay down their lives for his flock instead of encouraging and finding excuses for lifestyles contrary to the Gospel and the Ten Commandments?!?

Why did my cardinal not cite other parts of Veritatis Splendor? After the Vatican Council and the post council was well underway, Pope John Paul II wrote, contesting “certain currents of modern thought … The individual conscience is accorded the status of a supreme tribunal of moral judgment which hands down categorical and infallible decisions about good and evil. … so much so that some have come to adopt A RADICALLY SUBJECTIVISTIC CONCEPTION OF MORAL JUDGMENT” (Veritatis Splendor, no. 32; http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/encyclicals/documents/hf_jp-ii_enc_06081993_veritatis-splendor_en.html).

A week before this monthly formation of the clergy of the diocese of Perugia the nearby pastor (“The Hidden Broad Road to Perdition”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/05/road-perdition.html) came to visit me. I discovered in the recent years many indications that this pastor communicates everything that I say to the bishop of Perugia. Among other things I said to this pastor: “Did God give us the Ten Commandments for our good or for our evil?” I also said that if a pastor explains simply and with love the Ten Commandments to the parishioners and the consequences of not living them, here on earth and after death, there are more and more parishioners who do not want to hear these things and some of them phone the bishop and I said that “the majority of the bishops today listen to these parishioners but does not talk to the pastor, and the bishop sends this pastor away from the parish”. I also said that a woman, Francesca, who loaned me some spiritual books a year ago, comes often to this little village where I live to visit a married and divorced man. The pastor immediately defended Francesca saying that he know her. I added that Francesca also has the keys to the house of this divorced man.

I wonder if this pastor is concerned about the eternal salvation of Francesca?!? Two years ago when told this pastor that in a house for drug rehabilitation the one in charge began to receive also prostitutes in this house; before there were only more young men. This pastor was only worried about human respect if people might discover this, without any indication whatsoever of concern for the eternal salvation of the youth in this house. When I went regularly to this house before, a few young men would make a good confession; after a few prostitutes came to this house picked up by the police, no one wanted to go to confession any more, and I stopped going because I want to collaborate with a house of rehabilitation not a house of destruction! If you want to read about my struggle against the selling of PORNOGRAPHY and the indifference of the owners of a bar in Italy, and the indifference of the local pastor, visit: http://wordbelife.blogspot.it/2013/04/james-59.html .

My cardinal said: “Not because we go along thinking, and the first thing that we think about, is that they are in the state of mortal sin. This we do not have the right”. Is my cardinal concerned at all about the eternal salvation of souls OR ONLY HUMAN RESPECT? Does he believe that hell exists and has he read the 70 references to hell in the four Gospels from the mouth of Christ, and has he studied, as he told us priests to do before opening our mouths, the many explanations in the CCC about the dangers for souls to end up separated from God for all eternity?!?

Professor Ralph Martin, in the Seminary of the Sacred Heart (Detroit, MI, USA), clarified this very important teaching of the Second Vatican Council in his book “Will Many Be Saved?”, with the subtitle “What Vatican II actually teaches and Its Implications for the New Evangelization”. Ralph Martin explains how people hear that it is possible to be saved without hearing the Gospel. Then a funny thing happens. They say, I am glad to hear that, I do not have to worry about people anymore. So they jump from the possibility to the presumed probability of almost universal certainty. There is always the example, probably people like Hitler do not make it, that type of thing. Even the most famous theologians who write on this subject do this. They just pay attention to the first few sentences of Lumen Gentium 16 and they jump from possibility to probability, and they completely ignore the last three sentences. These last three sentences speak about all those people who theoretically have the possibility of saying yes to the grace of God without hearing the Gospel but do not. And very often, the council is telling us, that this responding to the grace of God does not happen based on what Scripture reveals to us about the human condition. The verse of the Gospel of Mark, “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mk 16:16), is talking about the outcome of our response to the Lord having consequences! The teaching of the Council is teaching in harmony with Sacred Scripture and the Church, and even though it is possible for someone to be saved without hearing the Gospel, very often that does not happen. We really need to help people to encounter Jesus Christ, and to discover the fullness of the means of sanctification and of the truth in the Catholic Church! Visit: “The Hidden Broad Road to Perdition” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/05/road-perdition.html).

My cardinal, as so many bishops and priests today in the Church, among other things, does not make distinctions, even though Saint Thomas Aquinas wrote: Rarely affirm, seldom deny, always distinguish. My cardinal does not distinguish between the objective and the subjective. It is clear that only God can judge the subjective things, the invisible things, such as thought, motives, etc. But we must judge the objective thins, the visible things.

The readings for the 23rd Sunday, cycle A, explains this:

"If your brother sins against you, GO AND TELL HIM HIS FAULT, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every word may be confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Mt 18,15-18)..

"So you, son of man, I HAVE MADE A WATCHMAN FOR THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL; whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall give them warning from me. If I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked to turn from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 9 But if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way; he shall die in his iniquity, but you will have saved your life” (Ezek 33:7-9)

The fundamental sin here, which my cardinal and “Pope Francis” never talk about and encourage in every way possible in a hidden way, is TO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE WILL OF GOD! “Ignorance is bliss”! Thus one says with his mouth the Our Father, “THY will be done”, but in practice, “MY will be done”, because many do not want to discover the will of God, and even worse and more subtle, God is always in agreement with me!

In this way, when one dies, such people who do not want to know or discover the will of God, throw themselves into the eternal place where there is not the will of God, where there is not the Truth who is God. After death there are two place for eternity, where there is God, and where there is not God, which is called hell; there is “the father of lies” (jn 8:44). “The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God” (CCC 1035).

- - -

My cardinal says to the priests of Perugia: “Become informed with the CCC. Study in depth Catholic theology.” But why does he offer us only half of the explanation of the CCC, and thus not in context with the teaching of the Church all together?

- - -

It seems to me that my cardinal APES the magazine “La Repubblica”. I wrote in my article, “Is the Pope Catholic? - The Greatest Schism in Catholic Church History!” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2016/05/is-pope-catholic.html):

LA REPUBBLICA: “The consequences or effects of a rule need not necessarily always be the same” (Amoris Laetitia, no. 300) and “this is also the case with regard to sacramental discipline”. It is underscored in fact that “it is no longer possible to say that all those in any “irregular” situation are living in a state of mortal sin”, because “the Church possesses a solid body of reflection concerning mitigating factors and situations.” (Amoris Laetitia, no. 301). Thus there is no impediment to the readmission to the sacraments.”

MY COMMENTS: This is saying that we NO LONGER NEED to consider moral laws of God as objective laws (subjectivism!), and there is no need to try to conform our lives according to the laws of God. The Church has always taught: “Imputability and responsibility for an action can be diminished or even nullified by ignorance, inadvertence, duress, fear, habit, inordinate attachments, and other psychological or social factors” (CCC 1735).

But the Catholic Church has also always taught (of which “Pope Francis” does NOT talk about even though there is more confusion and relativism in the world and Church than ever before!): “CONSCIENCE MUST BE INFORMED AND MORAL JUDGMENT ENLIGHTENED. A well-formed conscience is upright and truthful. It formulates its judgments according to reason, in conformity with the true good willed by the wisdom of the Creator. The education of conscience is indispensable for human beings who are subjected to negative influences and tempted by sin to prefer their own judgment and to reject authoritative teachings” (CCC 1783).

These phrases from Amoris Laetitia is making the exeption the rule. This is taking particular situations and applying these particular situations to all cases and all situations. This is very similar to “no fault divorce” which makes it very easy to leave your spouse for any reason, so that we no longer have to suffer with Christ in our God-given vocations. This is again helping us to go down the slippery slope away from Calvary, with the cross o Christ, and toward the wide and the way: “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few” (Mt 7:13-14)!

THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH DOES EXIST! “Conscience can remain in ignorance or make erroneous judgments. Such ignorance and errors are not always free of guilt” (CCC 1801, 1713, 1714). “No one is deemed to be ignorant of the principles of the moral law, which are written in the conscience of every man” (CCC 1860). (“The Hidden Broad Road to Perdition”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/05/road-perdition.html).

“Do not be deceived; GOD IS NOT MOCKED, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life” (Gal 6:7-8)!

This is the fundamental deception of “the father of lies” today, that “ignorance is bliss”, and therefore I have no obligation to “inform my conscience” according to God, who gave us a Church to guide us for our true good! What would we think of a nurse who sees two medicines on the table but does not know which one to give to a particular patient, but says to herself, “I am a nice person, so I will not try to discover which medicine I should give to this patient”?!? She gives the wrong one and the patient dies!

- - -

LA REPUBBLICA: “Bergoglio underscores in fact that “the way of the Church is that of not condemning anyone”.”

La Repubblica: “Bergoglio sottolinea infatti che "la strada della Chiesa è quella di non condannare nessuno".”

MY COMMENTS: But the Church has always taught this; again “Pope Francis” does not make the distinction between the subjective and objective.

Just as the gay activists do not make this distinction and thus accuse true Christians of hating homosexuals, because true Christians hate the act of sin, but love the sinner.

“Pope Benedict explained to us the great IMPORTANCE OF DISTINGUISHING between the issues that are negotiable and the issues that are not negotiable” (“Letter to fellow Priests”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/12/letter-to-fellow-priests.html). Non negotiable sins are also called intrinsic evil since they are wrong in all circumstances (http://www.stjoseph-marysville.org/faqnonnegotiables.html).

"I have never understood the expression 'nonnegotiable values,'” he said in his latest interview. And in a book, his closest collaborator explains why Pope Francis is carefully avoiding a head-on collision with the dominant culture” (ROME, March 10, 2014; http://chiesa.espresso.repubblica.it/articolo/1350737?eng=y).

A pope who says he does not understand the constant teaching of the Catholic Church!?!?!

For “Pope Francis”, and so many priests and bishops today, there are no more inherently sinful acts, intrinsic evils, contrary to the words of Christ explained by the Catholic Church for 2000 years!

This picking away at non-negotiables, which are intrinsically evil, is the stripping away, piece by piece, of the flesh of Christ Who is the Truth!

- - - LA REPUBBLICA: “It is not a full opening to all couples living together, but the recognition that also in cohabitation, for example, “respect also can be shown for those signs of love which in some way reflect God’s own love” (Amoris Laetitia, no. 294), and that all these situations “require a constructive response” (Amoris Laetitia, no. 294) according to the spirit of the “Church hospital”, dear to the pontiff.”

MY COMMENTS: As Fr. Larry Richards says often: “Yes, God meets you where you are, but God loves you too much to leave you where you are”! “Pope Francis” continues to call for mercy, but he never finishes the complete message of Christ for the good of each person: “Go and sin no more”! The message that the world at large is taking from the message of “Pope Francis” is that we can now remain in the “near occasion of sin” which is what we promise not to do in the “Act of Contrition”! Even the Atheist Communist Marxist Dictator Raúl Castro said: “If the Pope continues to speak like this,… I will return to the Catholic Church ...” (“Letter to fellow Priests”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/12/letter-to-fellow-priests.html). The world, like Raul Castro, interprets this nice “Church hospital” of taking everyone in, as if there is no longer any obligation to conform our lives to the Ten Commandments. In my opinion, this interpretation throughout the world, promoted by the mass media, is not by chance but well calculated and orchestrated!!! This means that there is no longer any need to offer the help to heal the sicknesses of the soul (eternal), but only of the body (temporal); this is misguided compassion which does great harm in making people feel all is OK while ignoring the state of their immortal souls, which is much more important than their physical bodies!

- - -

LA REPUBBLICA: “It is useless to pretend to impose rules with the force of authority” (Amoris Laetitia, no. 35)

La Repubblica: "Non serve pretendere di imporre norme con la forza dell'autorità" (Amoris Laetitia, no. 35)

MY COMMENTS: It is useless for God to impose Ten Commandments; according to this line of reason, God should have offered us the Ten Suggestions, and should have never given mankind any commandments with the force of divine authority! After all according to the very numerous relativists today, each human being, in his subjective reasoning, is infallible!!! This statement of “Pope Francis” is really saying that all people with authority, given by God, such as parents, priests and bishops, are imposing norms when they proclaim the saving laws of God. It is clear in Sacred Scriptures, explained by the teachings of the Church, that parents, priests and bishops must proclaim the saving laws of God, and will be judged accordingly if they have done this essential work or not. The pastors of souls must protect the sheep from the very intelligent and sly wolf who offers beautiful hidden lies and deceptions to destroy the sheep. Are the Ten Commandments for our good or for our evil? As John Paul II said: “God always invites, He never demands”. God does not force anyone to be with the Truth (Who is God) here on earth nor after death for all eternity. I could imagine such a statement from the mouth of a spoiled arrogant child, a product of the schools and mass media today, but from the mouth of a supposed Vicar of Christ?!?

- - -

LA REPUBBLICA: “And still more: “We have also proposed a far too abstract and almost artificial theological ideal of marriage, far removed from the concrete situations” and this, he writes, “has not helped to make marriage more desirable and attractive, but quite the opposite”.”

MY COMMENTS: Are the words of Christ “too abstract” or too difficult? Since the invention of “the pill” and the great rebellion against the encyclical “Humanae Vitae”, it is true that the concrete situation has become very difficult. Is it the disobedience to God’s holy laws or is it God’s laws explained by the Church that have “not helped to make marriage more desirable and attractive”? “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Is 5:20). Is the solution to lower the bar, to change the Ten Commandments or to cry out to God in humility and repentance and ask God’s help as all the saints did in the past? Is the solution to just give up and throw out all true Christian ideals and God’s laws which today seem impossible, so as to follow the broad way to hell (Mt 7:13).

“ONE DAY, I SAW TWO ROADS. One was broad, covered with sand and flowers, full of joy, music and all sorts of pleasures. People walked along it, dancing and enjoying themselves. They reached the end without realizing it. And at the end of the road there was a horrible precipice; that is, the abyss of hell. The souls fell blindly into it; as they walked, so they fell. And their number was so great that it was impossible to count them. And I saw the other road, or rather, a path, for it was narrow and strewn with thorns and rocks; and the people who walked along it had tears in their eyes, and all kinds of suffering befell them. Some fell down upon the rocks, but stood up immediately and went on. At the end of the road there was a magnificent garden filled with all sorts of happiness, and all these souls entered there. At the very first instant they forgot all their sufferings.” (Diary of St. Faustina, no. 153)

“With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God” (Mt 19:26; Mk 10:23-27; Lk 18:27).

- - -

LA REPUBBLICA: “Even while reasserting the concept that led Francesco in a press conference to affirm that we are not dealing with having children “like rabbits”. Large families are a joy for the Church, writes the Pope, even thought this “does not mean to forget a healthy warning of Saint John Paul II”, according to which “responsible paternity is not an unlimited procreation or lack of awareness” but rather “the empowerment of couples to use their inviolable liberty wisely and responsibly, taking into account social and demographic realities, as well as their own situation and legitimate desires” (Letter to the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization on Population and Development (18 March 1994): Insegnamenti XVII/1 (1994), 750-751).

MY COMMENTS: There is no mention of forming ones conscience according to the guidance of the Church. Why was there not cited important parts of the Apostolic Exhortation, Familiaris Consortio, of Pope John Paul II, or from the CCC (no. 1783, 1801, 1713, 1714, 1860). Why was this Familiaris Consortio basically pushed aside at the two synods on the family?

Familiaris Consortio, 33:

“But it is one and the same Church that is both Teacher and Mother. And so the Church never ceases to exhort and encourage all to resolve whatever conjugal difficulties may arise without ever falsifying or compromising the truth: she is convinced that there can be no true contradiction between the divine law on transmitting life and that on fostering authentic married love. Accordingly, the concrete pedagogy of the Church must always remain linked with her doctrine and never be separated from it. With the same conviction as my predecessor, I therefore repeat: "To diminish in no way the saving teaching of Christ constitutes an eminent form of charity for souls." (Pope Paul VI, “Humanae Vitae”, 29).

I wrote in my article, “Letter to fellow Priests” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2014/12/letter-to-fellow-priests.html):

But HOW ARE THESE BEAUTIFUL SLOGANS UNDERSTOOD BY THE PEOPLE by way of the mass media? (…)

- “WHO AM I TO JUDGE?”

How is this interpreted by the great majority of people? This short phrase is very misleading to the public without the proper and needed explanation given in the same context of the talk or communication! Do people understand the great need to distinguish? Saint Thomas exhorts us to always distinguish, so as to not judge the subjective elements which are visible only to God, but to judge the objective elements which are visible to us and must be judged by us so as to determine if the words or behavior of a religious leader, or anyone, are true according to Divine Revelation, or if there are false and lead us into error by scandal. Both the ones who give scandal as well as those who follow scandal are culpable before God! (Sermon of St. Augustine on the Shepherds; Office of Readings; Week 24, Friday; Ez 34:3; Mk 9:42-49; CCC 2284). Christ clearly taught us to love the sinner but hate the sin. A great number of people today do not make this distinction and thus accuse true Christians of hating those with a homosexual tendency!

Also, in our secular, egotistical society today, people do not want to hear or understand the very detrimental consequences of private personal sins and their effects on others around them and on the whole of society, except when they are publically identified as hypocrites. The first priority for many people today is to save face and human respect. They want only their pleasure today without any responsibility for tomorrow or for others around them or the society, and woe to those who tell them otherwise. We hide abortions and the elderly with euthanasia; we hide the consequences of sin and Christ crucified for these sins.

HOW MANY CATHOLICS ARE READY TO LOOSE THEIR WORK AND PRESTIGE AND ENTER INTO POVERTY IN ORDER NOT TO COMMIT A GRAVE MORTAL SIN? I think very few indeed! The devil moves very gently and imperceptibly so that we might go toward the infernal precipice full of gaiety, dancing and all sorts of pleasures (Diary of St. Faustina, no. 153).

Also, in the atmosphere of relativism, prepared by Satan in the last decades, today, this phrase, “Who am I to judge”, is interpreted more than ever as if sin does not exist, or that there is mercy without any personal obligation, in order to have sincere repentance, to “promise, with the help of thy grace, to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin”!

A half truth, when it is told to leave one to question or negate the other half, is worse than an outright lie because within it is a deception in what one is actually saying. Such obscurity is designed to keep just enough of one’s enemy asleep. The sense in which Jesus told us not to judge others was in regard to the measure of culpability for the sin committed. It was never to negate the need and importance of discerning or judging what sin is or whether another has committed or is living in sin. The negation of the certainty of very significant socially damaging (mortal!) sins by these deliberate half truths when the majority of Catholics have already negated them, causes great moral and spiritual damage. The type of judging that Jesus forbids is that which negates love for the sinner. The kind of judging we must do in discerning what sin is, IS REQUIRED BY LOVE FOR THE SINNER. When pastors and priests do not judge sin as sin it is because they do not love the sinner as they often falsely profess. This lack of true love (lovelessness) leads to moral chaos which then often leads to an opposite reactive lovelessness and the self destruction of families and eventually society.

In the four Gospels, one finds Jesus, Who is Love incarnate, referring to hell about 70 times! “Do not judge by appearance, but judge with right judgment” (Jn 7:24).

What is the effect when a very high ranking religious leader writes: “The question for those who do not believe in God lies in their obedience to their own conscience. There is sin, even for those who do not have faith, when one goes against the conscience … In other words, the truth being definitively one with love, requires humility and openness in order to be sought, received and expressed”? In this statement there is no explanation of the need to seek the truth outside of one’s own heads and to form one’s conscience according to at least the natural law which all men can come to understand, even those who have never heard about Jesus Christ (CCC 50).

The same deceptive half truth that leaves one to negate the other half is the statement that implies that if we take care of our own sin, that is all that is needed if we are merciful to others. So we need more SILENCE about the sins in the world and in the Church!?! The deception of many Church leaders is not only in being quite short on naming sin, and implying it is whatever we think it is, but that in implying that if we take care of sin in our own lives everyone else will do likewise without our “judgmental” intervention! It’s live and let live with a false message of mercy solving all things. THIS IS THE NEGATION OF SIN, THE SAME MESSAGE THE SERPENT GAVE TO EVE IN THE GARDEN.

The Second Vatican Council expressed this concept in the proper context so as not to lead astray or deceive the readers (Dignitatis Humanae, no. 1). How easy it is to fall into the hidden and devastating dangers of indifferentism and subjectivism. “By natural reason man can know God with certainty, on the basis of His works. But there is another order of knowledge, which man cannot possible arrive at by his own powers: the order of divine Revelation…” (CCC 50).

Fundamentally, the strategy to disarm the Church of her most powerful weapons and defenses against the onslaughts of Satan using false ecumenism, false love and false mercy, is the same strategy used by the homosexual activists to destroy the fundamental cell of society, the family. In the name of “love”, of “compassion”, of “tolerance”, of “mercy”, of “equal rights”, the puppets of Satan, these homosexual activists, manipulate, coerce, and impose their agenda on an unsuspecting public, even though their goal and agenda destroys not only the family but also the society and destroys themselves in this fundamental human disorder. Where is the courage of our pastors who have been given by God the grace of their vocation to warn the sheep of the very destructive hidden and devious lies of the ravenous wolves in sheep’s clothing?

The affirmation that the Church is necessary for salvation “is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church: Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation” (CCC 846-847).

Padre Pio and all the saints were very preoccupied for the salvation of souls and the dangers for souls. Now many priests and bishops are preoccupied to NOT talk about sin since we cannot know if a person has committed a sin (on the subjectively level)!?! Many priests and bishops do not make distinctions and thus everything in the moral realm today has been put into the category of subjective judgment which only God can judge and thus if you talk about sin you are immediately accused of judging others!!! Homosexual activists do not make the distinction between the sinner and the act of sinning, the act of homosexuality; thus they accuse true Christians of hating homosexuals. But true Christians, as does Christ, loves the sinner but hates the sin. Priests and bishops do exactly what the homosexual activists do because they do not make the proper distinctions!!!

What did the saints do???? Padre Pio sent away, without absolution, about one third of the people who came to him in confession! Today priests are afraid of trying to help people to identify the poison of sin as the doctors of souls, as did all the saints. The most important work of a priest has been greatly discouraged especially in the last three years. PRIESTS ARE ACCUSED OF NOT LOVING PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU TALK ABOUT THE GREATEST EVIL FOR A SOUL, SIN! After death our decision to be with the eternal Truth or to be with “the father of lies” will be confirmed for all eternity! Is this true love to talk like my cardinal talks and like “Pope Francis” talks, or is it true love to talk like Padre Pio and all the saints who were not afraid to help people identify and overcome the only mortal danger regarding our destiny for eternity?!?

If priests and bishops do not live their faith as the saints did or at least do not do the best of their ability with God’s graces, then they will go toward one extreme or the other, toward totally lenient as does a great number of priests and bishops today, or to the other extreme of judging and condemning others without love. Priests and bishops who do not live their faith according to God, but in their own relativism, will judge another priest who explains to the souls, entrusted to him, the Ten Commandments, and the consequences of sin here on earth and after death, even if this faithful priest does this out of true love for the souls entrusted to him, for their eternal salvation. Because these liberal priests and bishops only understand the two extremes but not the middle between the two extremes which is where true virtue. PRIESTS AND BISHOPS TODAY ARE VERY WORRIED ABOUT OFFENDING SOMEONE BUT VERY LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT HELPING SOULS IDENTIFY AND OVERCOME THE ONLY THING THAT WILL STOP THE SOULS FROM ENTERING ETERNAL LIFE, SIN!?! What are the priorities of such priests and bishops today so very numerous?!? What is more important, this short life or eternity? Jesus is the Truth (Jn 14:6) and thus one can apply this verse to the proclamation of the Truth: “So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven” (Mt 10:32-33)!

This attitude and judgment toward a good priest is augmented by the fact that a great number of priests and bishops today do not believe hell exists or that hell is empty, and thus this good priest, who is helping people to identify their sins and to overcome their sins, is only causing useless problems of psychological complexes for people according to the very numerous liberal priests and bishops. After all, if the devil does not exist, then hell does not exist and thus sin does not exist, and thus there is no need of a Savior who came to free us from our “sins”!?! ACCORDING TO THESE PRIESTS AND BISHOPS, FULL OF HUMAN WISDOM, OUR LADY OF FATIMA WAS AN IDIOT TO SHOW THREE CHILDREN HELL and the thousands of souls who fall into hell everyday like sparks into the eternal flames. Pope John Paul II, according to them, was very imprudent to go to Fatima three times, and Pope Benedict XVI in 2010! According to these “enlightened” priests and bishops in their modern church today, Jesus came only to serve the agenda of the world with such things as liberation theology or to free the Jews from the Romans 2000 years ago, as Judas Iscariot hoped Jesus would do after he betrayed Jesus! Liberation theology is a true betrayal of Jesus Christ and of His Body, the Church!!!

“Saint Thomas Aquinas tells us that virtue lies in the middle between the two extremes which is usually the more difficult path requiring much patience, discernment and humility. On various occasions Jesus used very strong words for those who have taken the easier path. “YOU HYPOCRITES! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky; but why do you not know how to interpret the present time?” (Lk 12:56; Mt 16:3; 24:51)” (“The Hidden Broad Road to Perdition”; http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/05/road-perdition.html).

WHEN PEOPLE DO NOT SEE THE LIVED FAITH IN CHRISTIANS, WHAT HAPPENS?

“Religion itself, without the experience of wondrous discovery of the Son of God and communion with him who became our brother, becomes a mere set of principles which are increasingly difficult to understand, and rules which are increasingly hard to accept.”

(Blessed John Paul II, Meeting with Youth of Kazakhstan, September 23, 2001; https://w2.vatican.va/content/john-paul-ii/en/speeches/2001/september/documents/hf_jp-ii_spe_20010923_kazakhstan-astana-youth.html)

Certainly, we must not help people to identify sins and to overcome sins in a PROUD WAY. We don’t say this in a judging way. Saint Paul tells us: “Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one WITH TEARS” (Acts 20:31)

In another place Saint Paul says: “For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even WITH TEARS, live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things” (Phil 3:18-19).

This is the attitude of heart out of which we must speak the truth in love for the salvation of souls. This is how the Catechism of the Catholic Church for adults summarizes this (no. 1864): “There are no limits to the mercy of God, but anyone who deliberately refuses to accept his mercy by repenting, rejects the forgiveness of his sins and the salvation offered by the Holy Spirit. Such hardness of heart can lead to final impenitence and ETERNAL LOSS.”

Visit: “Satan Apes Christ”, which also includes many articles that I found that you might find interesting, including about the true purpose of NASA to produce holograms using Chemtrails, the fake extraterrestrials, the great danger of CERN, the Money Masters of the world, the continuing destruction of the sacrament of Matrimony and the family by “Pope Francis”, the “illumination of the consciences”, and more.

I understand more and more why Fr. Gabriele Amorth, and other important exorcists, said that SATAN’S GREATEST SUCCESS IS THE FACT THAT HE HAS MANAGED TO CONVINCE PEOPLE THAT HE DOES NOT EXIST (http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?id=2879; http://www.vaticans.org/index.php?/archives/61-An-interview-with-the-Vaticans-chief-excorcist,-Father-Gabriele.html). Thus if the devil does not exist, neither does hell, neither does sin exist; Christ becomes just a nice social leader for liberation theology, and those who still believe that the devil and hell exist, and try to help people to avoid going to hell by helping people identify their sins and to overcome them with the sacraments and prayer, are accused of being unloving people from the past. We are now the modern church!!!

The Servant of God, Archbishop Fulton Sheen, told us in 1950:

“[Satan] will set up a counterchurch which will be the ape of the [Catholic] Church … It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and EMPTIED OF ITS DIVINE CONTENT.”

“We are living in the days of the Apocalypse, the last days of our era. The two great forces – the Mystical Body of Christ and the Mystical Body of the anti-Christ – are beginning to draw battle lines for the catastrophic contest.”

“The False prophet will have A RELIGION WITHOUT A CROSS. A RELIGION WITHOUT A WORLD TO COME. A religion to destroy religions. There will be a counterfeit Church.”

“Christ’s Church the Catholic Church will be one; and the false Prophet will create the other.”

“THE FALSE CHURCH WILL BE WORLDLY, ECUMENICAL, AND GLOBAL. It will be a loose federation of churches and religions, forming some type of global association.”

“A world parliament of Churches. It will be emptied of all Divine content, it will be the mystical body of the anti-christ. The Mystical Body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot, and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from our Bishops.”

“THE ANTICHRIST WILL NOT BE SO CALLED; OTHERWISE HE WOULD HAVE NO FOLLOWERS. He will not wear red tights, nor vomit sulphur, nor carry a trident nor wave an arrowed tail as Mephistopheles in Faust. This masquerade has helped the Devil convince men that he does not exist. When no man recognizes, the more power he exercises. God has defined Himself as “I am Who am,” and the Devil as “I am who am not.”

“Nowhere in Sacred Scripture do we find warrant for the popular myth of the Devil as a buffoon who is dressed like the first “red.” Rather is he described as an angel fallen from heaven, as “the Prince of this world,” whose business it is to tell us that there is no other world. HIS LOGIC IS SIMPLE: if there is no heaven there is no hell; if there is no hell, then there is no sin; if there is no sin, then there is no judge, and if there is no judgment then evil is good and good is evil. But above all these descriptions, OUR LORD TELLS US THAT HE WILL BE SO MUCH LIKE HIMSELF THAT HE WOULD DECEIVE EVEN THE ELECT–and certainly no devil ever seen in picture books could deceive even the elect. How will he come in this new age to win followers to his religion?”

It is very interesting that “Pope Francis” STOPPED THE PROCESS OF BEATIFICATION of Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen!?!

I wrote in my article: “The Hidden Broad Road to Perdition” (http://spir-food.blogspot.it/2015/05/road-perdition.html):

THE LAST SEVERAL POPES HAVE SAID THAT THE MOST SERIOUS SIN TODAY IS THAT THERE IS NO MORE SIN; we have lost the sense of sin. One of the most fundamental tasks for Jesus was that of Redeemer, to free us from our sins for those of good will who confess their sins (Mk 2:17; Lk 5:31-32, etc.). Thus one of the tasks most fundamental for the priests is to be the doctor of the souls, to help the souls to identify and to cure the sicknesses of the soul, especially those most grave which are called “mortal sins”, that is, the sins which render the soul dead, but the body walks with a dead soul until death if there is no priest who helps the person to recognize the gravity of their situation and to make a good confession! If the priests do not help the people to identify the sickness of the soul, the people do not have anything to confess, and thus they have no need of Jesus the Redeemer, who came for sinners, not for the just who believe to have no sins. In this way the Redemption is nullified for these people because they do not believe to have need of a Savior.

The saints tell us that the gravest sins are those of omission. Even though the servant, who did not multiply his talent, did not steal or kill anyone, he was called by Jesus “wicked and slothful servant” (Mt 25:26), words rarely used by Jesus in the Gospels! MANY PRIESTS AND BISHOPS TODAY HAVE NOT DONE THEIR PRIMARY JOB, to indicate, with explanations, and cure the sicknesses of the souls. Because after many years of this negligence to help souls to identify their sins according to the CCC and to get out of mortal sin, often the reaction among many people, who even frequent the parish, is very negative when finally a new pastor explains the Catholic religion according to the teachings of the Catholic Church, summarized in the CCC for adults! If one confronts the life of the people, who even frequent the parishes, with the CCC, on the objective level (not subjective which only God can judge), at least the majority are in mortal sin today; and notwithstanding this, there are very few who go to confession and there are many who communicate with the infinite God in the Eucharist!

But many who still go to confession, do not understand anymore what is a sin according to the CCC, because very few priests today take the risk of their primary job to help the souls identify and cure the mortal sicknesses of the soul, MORTAL SINS! The secretary of the Congregation for Clergy, Archbishop Mauro Piacenza, has lamented that many faithful no longer confess their sins. Archbishop Piacenza told Vatican Radio (June 5, 2009) the sacrament of penance has been experiencing a "deep crisis" for decades. Piacenza, an official for the Vatican office on clergy, says FEWER PEOPLE DISTINGUISH BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL, and as a result do not go to confession. The archbishop said in an interview that if faithful do not have a sense of sin, they might "CONFUSE" CONFESSION WITH "THE COUCH OF A PSYCHOLOGIST OR A PSYCHIATRIST"! (http://www.cathnews.com/article.aspx?aeid=14231).

WHAT WOULD YOU THINK OF A DOCTOR WHO CARED NOTHING ABOUT DISEASE AND DOES NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT DISEASE and sends patients with a grave disease home telling the patient not to worry because the doctor was afraid of UPSETTING THE PATIENT. He would be considered a quake, an incompetent, culpable of gross professional negligence. He could be sued for malpractice. But if priests do not speak about the only thing that can kill the soul, mortal sin, because the people (spiritual patients) do not want to hear these things, what would you think of such a priest? If the doctor operates in this way, the person could easily loose his life; but if the doctor of souls, the priest, does this, the person could loose his immortal soul which lasts for all eternity. “For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life?” (Mt 16:26; Mc 8:36).

The Catholic Church has always taught: “CONSCIENCE MUST BE INFORMED AND MORAL JUDGMENT ENLIGHTENED.

“NEGLIGENT RELIGIOUS LEADERS ARE OFTEN AFRAID TO SPEAK freely and say what needs to be said – for fear of losing favor with people. As Truth himself says, they are certainly not guarding their flock with the care expected of a shepherd but are acting like hirelings, because hiding behind a wall of silence is like taking flight at the approach of the wolf. These are the people whom the Lord is reproaching through the prophet, when he says: ‘THEY ARE ALL DUMB DOGS, THEY CANNOT BARK’ (Is 56:10) … If a religious leader is afraid to say what is right, what else can his silence mean but that he has taken flight? Whereas, if he stand firm in defense of his flock, he is building up a wall for the house of Israel against its enemies. And so again the sinful people are told: ‘Your prophets have seen false and foolish visions for you; they have not exposed your iniquity in order to provoke you to repentance.’ …” (Pope St. Gregory the Great; Office of Readings; Sunday, Week 27 of OT).

A great number of pastors today want to close their eyes to the signs of the times, even to the point on convincing themselves and their flocks that the devil does not exist (http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?id=2879; http://www.vaticans.org/index.php?/archives/61-An-interview-with-the-Vaticans-chief-excorcist,-Father-Gabriele.html), and to “even promise the happiness of this world” in order to please the people!

“WHAT KIND OF MEN ARE THEY who, FEARING TO HURT THOSE THEY SPEAK TO, not only do not prepare them for imminent temptations, but even promise the happiness of this world, which God did not promise to the world itself?...” (Sermon of St. Augustine on the Shepherds; Office of Readings; Sunday, Week 24 of OT, Friday).

Read the Sermon of St. Augustine on the Shepherds, the second readings from Sunday of 24 OT to Friday of 25 OT.

This great lack of warning the souls of the beautiful lies of Satan, presented as if they were the truth, is a great betrayal on the part of the pastors! This is why Saint Michael the Archangel at Garabandal, sent by Our Lady, (Spain, 1965) said: “Many Cardinal, many Bishops and many Priests are on the road to perdition and with them they are bringing many souls”!

- - -

If a priest truly loves the people in his parish, would he not want to help people to recognize and heal the greatest evil of the soul, mortal sin? Are priests today concerned about the eternal salvation of the souls entrusted to them or do they believe that heaven is automatic and so they can concentrate only on this short life?

- - -

“The whole of man’s history has been the story of DOUR COMBAT with the powers of evil” (CCC 409).

- - -

“THE PRIESTS TODAY WHO PREACH THE WHOLE GOSPEL and all of the teachings of the Magisterium of the Church are labeled ridged and old-fashioned, insensitive, lacking in compassion, divisive, judgmental, MORALISTS. While at the same time the ones who maintain a culpable silence, the ones who tell their people what they think they want to hear are seen as understanding, sympathetic, pastorally sensitive and merciful. “Woe to you, when all men speak well of you” (Lk 6:26). “How can you believe, who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?” (Jn 5:44; Gal 1:10). But this way of doing things is not true mercy! THIS IS FALSE LOVE, MISGUIDED COMPASSION, false mercy, false ecumenism, that does not lead to heaven for eternity!?!”

Forgive me for the length of this article, but the confusion is great among priests and bishops even though they studied theology and philosophy in the seminary!

My impression is that Francis is leading a schism. He thinks that he and the bishops who follow him comprise the Magisterium, but in fact, the Magisterium begins with Christ, the Bible, and the entire teaching authority from Christ until now.

I totally agree with you. The Church is the handmaid of the Truth, not the Author of the Truth. The Holy Spirit has guided the Church in 2000 years to understand the unchangeable Truth, which cannot change.
“We do not need a Church that is moved by the world, but a Church that moves the world” – G.K. Chesterton.
The problem is: “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light” (2Cor 11:14).
Thus if one is living the words of the Our Father, “MY will be done”, instead of “THY will be done”, this person will not be able to distinguish between the beautiful lies presented by the false prophet and the uncomfortable Truth, Who is Christ crucified!
