In before the dispensationalists come and argue with you about the dating of Revelation.
sure.
All you have to do to believe this is change the language to spiritualize its meaning.
And deny the reality of Satan still unbound.

The totality of the evidence suggests that we don’t know exactly when John received the Revelation. There are lots of questions and few answers, all dealing with a small window of time 2000 years ago. We don’t know.
“Charles Meek has a BA degree from Duke University and an MBA from St. Edwards University.”
Poor credentials to even understand the totality of Scripture. This is the first recommended resource of the author of this article.
..Israel’s worst and best days are ahead. Spiritualizing the OT gave birth to Replacement Theology, which is what is being advanced here. Dispensationalism may have its problems, but at least there is an honest attempt at interpreting both Old and New Testaments consistantly...
The author of this article is using some of the same arguments that Sir Isaac Newton used to show that Revelation was written early rather than late. Although, Newton comes to a different conclusion.
His evidence is a bit lengthier than given in this article.

Any of you history experts out there:
Did you see 1,000 years of peace right after 70? If so, did what happened after those 1,000 years match what the Bible said would happen?
Did you see the heart of everyone on Earth turn to G-d?
Did you see a new Temple built?
Did you see all of the Jews returned to Israel, including the 10 Lost Tribes?
No????? OK, then, the Messiah did NOT come in 70. More like the diametric opposite.
It is common knowledge that Revelation was written around 70 CE.....why do you believe otherwise
The author of the book pegs Revelation (& the other NT books) as being written before 70 A.D.
Very extensively researched.
So, what will bring Israel to repentance if the Trubulation is already accomplished?
I believe God is great enough that He can inspire writings that are true for the times... and true for all time.
All Christ’s words were true in the present moment, and true for each one of us living today. His words are general and, simultaneously, very personal. When He spoke, He was speaking to an individual, to everyone for all time, and to me.
Revelation was a message for the Jews, who come first in God’s eyes; the Jews of the day, the Jews for all time, and for all the rest of us.
Rediculous assertion not supported by historians or science
If all was fulfilled in 70 AD, why is the Revelation 12:1-2 sign in the heavens happening this year on September 23-24?
Wasn’t much of a covenant if it ended, was it? What makes you think that He won’t end your new covenant and replace it with something else? That is certainly what Islam teaches. My understanding was that God never changes.
It would have been helpful for revelation to have been written in plain language.
Hilarious. Thanks for the laugh. Needed a lift today
Where is the rebuilt Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem?
Where are our (those in Christ) new resurrected bodies?
Really??? Where's the new kingdom with Jesus sitting on the throne??? Where are the lions laying down with the lambs???
You reference less than a handful of verses from Revelation...Those don't even cover part of a chapter...What about the rest of the book???
And Jesus came back 2000 years ago??? Where is he??? You really think what we now have is all God had to offer Christians???
And I like this one:
John was to measure the temple, the altar, and them that worshipped, which strongly implies the temple was still standing when he wrote the Revelation.
Revelation 11:2 ' But the court - is given unto the Gentiles - The measuring of the temple probably refers to its approaching destruction, and the termination of the whole Levitical service; and this we find was to be done by the Gentiles, (Romans), who were to tread it down forty-two months; i.e., just three years and a half, or twelve hundred and sixty days. This must be a symbolical period.'
John was to measure the temple, the altar, and them that worshipped, which strongly implies the temple was still standing when he wrote the Revelation.
So God had John measure the temple before it was torn down...Why??? HaHaHa, you gotta be kidding me...God had John measure the temple so after it was torn down, there'd be a written record of the measurements so it could be built again...
The Jews in Israel know that...They have everything in place to build the new temple (plus the measurements) and the priesthood which will run it...
