I see this type all the time they go to church, very liberal churches, proclaim their Christianity, judge harshly anyone who opposes their politics and yet will accept any sin as long as it falls in line with their leftist ideology.
Up until this weekend I have tolerated their self-righteous BS, but I am fed up with them labeling me a bigot because I support the president. I pity the first one I encounter who pops off. I am ready for friendships and cordial behavior to be over and done with where these people are concerned.
I am also fed up with the Republican Party and its Pavlovian response. I hate them more than the Democrats!
I think a lot of professing Christians decide what their sexual morality is, then choose a church and a system of political beliefs based on that.
I’m specifically thinking of someone who told me of a desire to seek a church based on how they treated homosexuals and worked to put women in leadership positions in the church. This person (though I did not ask) has offered criticism of Trump, and sympathy for Hillary Clinton, and probably voted for her as well.
Then they are not Christians!
If you put anything before Christmas that causes you to be not Chris t-shirt, you can no longer call yourself one of Christ’s.
Well Leftists can’t be Christians....
When ever, where ever, you see the phrase “the Faith Community” you can be almost certain you are not dealing with Christians.
When someone claims to be a Christian then advocates “the separation of church and state” to mean we cannot “legislate morality”, you know that they are really saying they will not support pro-life/anti-abortion laws or interfere in total LGBTXYZ rights. They see morality as a relative/existential thing.
So, another weekend of hard drinking?
Looks like spell check got me!
The first problem is that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian, is.
Some people claim they are Christian and yet what they really mean is that they are not muslim or Jewish, or anything else.
It certainly don’t mean they have any relationship with Jesus.
The second word in the title does not apply to these people. You cannot support murder of children and claim Christ.
