A PRAYER FOR THE NATIONThis is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. On that day people will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. They will seize each other by the hand and attack one another. (Zechariah 14:12-13)

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:1-8)

Dear Heavenly Father, Creator and Ruler of All, We praise Your Holy Name!

What part of the Scripture, Your Written Word and Directives don’t the legislators and people of America understand. Trouble surrounds all facets of life in America. Your warnings to the people of the Old Testament gave witness to the fact that bad behavior has severe consequences. In addition, You tell us that nations that come against Your Land and Your Chosen People (Israel) are asking for Your judgment and wrath.

Heavenly Father, please forgive us of our sins, of our unrighteousness. We pray that (just like You did with King Josiah of Judah in the Old Testament) You will use the leadership of President Trump to help turn this country from its wicked ways. Please give him the strength and courage to seek Your Will not deviating from Your Precepts.

We plead that You will expose and remove people with positions of influence that are sowing seeds of discourse, mayhem. . .all with evil intent. Heavenly Father, please help Christians in this nation take authority over this evil environment. Evil has no place in America. Instead of worrying about “political correctness” we pray that we will be the nation noted for its stand for “Scriptural correctness” within our families, all levels of Government, Military, Business, Education, Churches, Health Care Systems and the Media.

We pray that true Bible believing Christians stand unabashedly for righteousness. . . Christian values and principles in this nation. You birthed this country to spread the gospel around the world. Please set our compass straight so that we can experience a mighty Holy Spirit-led Revival throughout the land.

Heavenly Father, We are witnessing unprecedented calamities in our nation. We pray for Your divine intervention in the lives of those who have been victimized by these tragedies. Please provide people with hope and strength as well as needed resources.

We know that one Day, the day and hour of Your choosing, life on this earth as we know it will all be over. . .for some that day could be the very next minute. We know that eternal life comes only by believing in Your Son, Jesus.

Thank You, Father God, that we can freely come to Your Throne seeking Your Will in the Precious Name of Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords, Amen

You have become the very forces of evil that your nation has defeated by My Power in your illustrious past and their fate you shall suffer.
