Pastor Osteen acquired Lakewood Church's new home at the former Compaq Center in 2005. The 16,000-seat arena is home to the nation's largest congregation (43,000 members) and underwent $95 million in renovations, according to a 2005 New York Times article. "Like many new evangelical churches, the building has no cross, no stained glass, no other religious iconography. Instead, it has a cafe with wireless Internet access, 32 video game kiosks and a vault to store the offering," the paper reported.

In one of the most puzzled over passages in the Bible, Satan presents himself before God in chapter one. In verse eight, God asks Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?”
Not so puzzling:
Job 42:5 I had only heard about You before, but now I have seen You with my own eyes.
I encourage all to read the before and after of the above.

Frauds like Osteen make me want to puke and they do more to turn people away from God then they do anything good in their so-called Ministry.

“after God allows Satan to afflict Job”
Technically, God said He would not intervene. “Allow” makes it sound like God was an active participant.
