Streets in Boro Park are usually blocked due to too much traffic, double parking, etc. So this is nothing new. I have to admit I am not a fan of Rubashkin, because of improper slaughter techniques in his slaughterhouse which caused great pain and distress to some of the cattle, in violation of Jewish law. I would never buy Rubashkin products under any circumstances. I really hope he does not open another slaughterhouse.

Perhaps you should explain why?

The government withdrew the immigration case after Rubashkin was convicted on fraud charges, which carried a heavier sentence.

The immigration charges were dismissed “without prejudice,” which means the DOJ can still prosecute Rubashkin.

Also, in exchange for the immigration dismissal, Rubashkin agreed that “evidence of immigration violations” could be examined by the judge who sentenced him for the fraud charges.

One final note - the list of judges, politicians, and former AGs who asked that Rubashkin’s sentence be reduced reads like a Who's Who of the Hard Left and Amnesty RINOs.

It's true that Cook is a Polish name. No! Worse, yet, it's an American name now! It's not very German at all... I'm joking!

Sincerely, a good answer might be in the Book of Esther (Mordechai, Ahasuerus, and all)...and the story of Daniel...and Abraham in Egypt...or...maybe the story of President Trump, Rabbi Rubashkin and Israel! We'll see.

Anyway, the answer is *not too unusual.* One never really knows who one might meet. Might be a friendly, or even a kindred soul.
