Churches made their choice stealthily, bit by bit, following advocacies of the likes of Beecher and Anthony for money from the political/regulator class to give fatherhood the boot. Bergoglio is the most unqualified bishop ever elevated to the Chair of Peter. He cares not one thing about authentic Catholicism and from the first few days in office invited Protestants like Joel Osteen, Rick Warren and a slew of black liberal pastors to the Vatican to tell them their faith is on the same level as Catholicism and never mentioned evangelization to the first one. As a matter of fact he has said it borders on sin to try and convince someone to convert to another faith. He lashes out at any bishop who follows the authentic teachings of the church while coddling the Lavendar Mafia who control him. The damage he’s doing to the faith is irreparable.
