When my second amendment guns cause as many deaths as inflammatory speech and battles between religions, we can talk about cutting back on firearms.

I’m put in mind of the Quaker congregation which sailed to America. En route, a foreign ship was sighted and it was possible that their ship would be attacked. A man in the congregation volunteered to help the crew fight if needed, and it was a scandal in the congregation.After the danger had passed, a member of the congregation voiced his disapproval - but was squelched when another member reminded him that he had felt differently “when thee thought there was danger."
