This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14

And when He had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for My sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of Him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the Glory of His Father with the holy angels. FATHER, we come before You, and it is us we are ashamed of as a Nation. OH GOD, where do we begin to ask for the immense MERCY needed to cleanse us of the sin that we have allowed to infiltrate into every corridor of our existence in what we call America. LORD, we have allowed the GOSPEL first to be trampled underfoot in our schools, then we see its power being silenced in politically correct governing bodies, its healing power is being shut out of our medicine and our compassions on the sick and dying, forcing souls to their end, and worse yet, we are killing off the next generation’s souls, before they have the opportunity or have a chance to live YOUR WILL throughout the world. OH GOD, and shame on us, who for the fear of TRUTH in the face of being rejected even by own families, have softened the cross and its purposed life for our children by not disciplining them correctly and allowing too much of the world’s opinions and acceptances to sway us in our training of them.

LORD, do we wonder why it asked: When Jesus returns, will he still find faith on earth? (Luke 18:8) Even our churches all falling in line with the world and its ways. LORD JESUS, if the world continues to reject YOU, they continue to reject the very gift of FAITH you offer. For YOU ARE THE AUTHOR and PERFECTER OF FAITH, and we must follow after YOU, take up our cross, and be led into GLORY. For this was THY VISION of JOY and it must be ours. Resurrection Life, Eternal Life, Everlasting Life, TO GOD BE THE GLORY NOW AND FOREVER AMEN.

FATHER, we pray that the POWER OF YOUR WORD will touch every avenue of our existence as a Nation, a church, a family, a soul. May this verse reign in every heart: I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile. LORD, as we pray for our Nation, we pray also: Redeem Israel from all her sins. IN YOUR NAME ALONE. Amen.
