I am confused. Went to the site. Seeing these bizarred photos but no commentary by Fr. Z. There is a link on his page to the Facebook page of the church, but I saw nothing on the church’s page about this.

If you page down through the comments, you'll see that the parish has been deleting the offensive photos from their facebook page since Fr. Z's post.

Good for Fr. Z for shaming them.

But supposedly the Mass occurred at the beginning of Lent when the superheroes had lost their “powers” and were asking the yutes to do a sacrifices to help the heroes get their "superpowers” back.

Interesting that this is in West Pittston. I have been to Pittston trying to track down information on my maternal great-grandparents, faithful Irish Catholics, who are, no doubt, turning in their graves over this blasphemous display.
