A married priesthood I can handle. I won’t like it much but it is not really illegitimate. Ordaining women is a different story. It has never been done and is thus an Innovation and must not be done. I suspect that if this pope lives a few more years the Gates of Hell will have prevailed against at least this portion of The Church. The Orthodox have maintained Tradition intact and have strayed as a body from the words of Christ only in the acceptance of divorce. Rome is throwing over as much of Tradition and of immutable Truth as can be done. I expect there will be a time when all the bishops will be required to affirm the pseudopope’s new Doctrine on marriage and adultery and on many other things. When that time comes I will slide over to the Orthodox parish here. I will not convert and I will not take Communion unless the priest invites me to. I will not be Orthodox but that will be the place to hear the Word of God and not be assailed from the Dais to accept the New Paganism in the Church
