The young Bergoglio is an assiduous reader of Fessards work La dialectique des Exercices spirituels de saint Ignace de Loyola. In it, the French Jesuit showed how Ignatian spirituality was determined by a polar tension between God and man, grace and freedom, the infinitely great and the infinitely small. From here rises the tensioned thinking of the future Pope. It is this thought that explains Bergoglios interest in the polar dialectic of Romano Guardini, when, in 1986, he went to Germany to do his doctoral thesis.
Since then, Guardini has become his point of reference. This idea of polarity, which finds its place of synthesis in Catholicism, also allows us to understand the central bond that unites Bergoglio to Amelia Podetti, the most important Argentine thinker of the 1970s, to Alberto Methol Ferrè, the most brilliant Latin American Catholic intellectual of the second half of the 20th century.
How responsible is Fessard for Francis alleged contradictions and perceived Hegelianism the dialectic of holding two seemingly contradictory positions, or as one of his advisers once said, believing that 2 + 2 can be equivalent to 5?

False Mystic.
The delusional pedantry of “scholars” like this author never cease to amaze me.
If Mother Teresa were alive she would have rebuked him off the planet. Francis is a political animal who needs to be publicly rebuked to his his face
Popes should be influenced by the former magisterial teachings of the Church and the Scriptures and influenced by no theologians opinion unless that theologian is also in total conformity with the above AND that theologian's opinion is a development of, not a contradiction of, doctrine.
Theologians have NO authority in the Church.
Ad they tend to cause a lot of mischief

That’s an interesting thing to say; I never gave it any thought.
I have read several other sites that have been critical of Francis in the past,( or of those around Francis who spout heresy and don't get corrected by him), but this week they have started writing articles pulling back on the criticism.
what has happened? A conference on correction in Rome that brought the opposition out in the open. Personally, I think Francis is sowing confusion in a manipulative manner to let the SOB’s take over the church.
One sign of the diabolic is confusion.
That says, a lot of the stuff Francis writes is very pretty. I always was one who showed my faith by my work, so when he talks of helping the poor etc. I agree.
However, he seems to limit serving God to being a SJW in politics, and rarely talks to the average Christian, who can't fly to Africa and run a hospital... he is ignoring the life of most Christians who serve God in the duties of their daily lives.
