Chomsky Claims GOP, Christianity Trying to 'Destroy the World'
Campus Reform ^ | 5/8/18 | Kyle Hooten

* Prominent liberal academic Noam Chomsky delivered a speech Friday at St. Olaf College, where he declared that Republicans and Christians are intent on "destroying organized human life."

*Chomsky equated support for fossil fuels to saying "let's quickly destroy ourselves, asserted that North Korea is "extending an olive branch" to the US, and insisted that Christians, but not Muslims, want to "destroy the world."

Noam Chomsky told students at St. Olaf College on Friday that the Republican Party is engaged in a “unique insanity which is dedicated to destroying organized human life.”

This comment and more came in the context of Dr. Chomsky’s 90-minute talk, which was intended to serve as this year’s keynote event for the college’s Political Awareness Committee (PAC).

The survival of humanity was a theme throughout the lecture, which opened with a call to the young adults of today, which Chomsky calls the “Europe generation.”

Chomsky, a world-renowned New Left academic who is harshly critical of conservative public policy positions, asserted that this generation “is facing the most awesome question that has ever arisen in human history: the question is will organized human life survive.”

Nuclear war and global warming were the two forces outlined as the primary threats to humanity, but President Donald Trump and the conservative movement in general also came under fire throughout the speech for their stances on these two issues.

Chomsky said he wasn’t surprised with the outcome of the 2016 presidential election, asserting that “for well over a century American elections have been mainly bought, literally,” and that he thinks Trump received “huge media support,” but added that he is, however, unhappy with the current administration.

Noam Chomsky makes over $10,000 for every college lecture he gives.

Sometimes he makes over $30,000 in a weekend.

Not all life, Noam. Just the lives of cretins like you. BTW, you look a little more everyday like John McCain. Have you had as brain scan recently (wink wink)?

I don't even mock Chomsky anymore, it's too easy. I do mourn for the intellect that was once and is no more. What is left is an empty shell, clinging desperately to a failed worldview and rejecting all contraindicative evidence. I honestly think the old fellow was disappointed when his dire predictions of world nuclear holocaust didn't come true.

Well, now it's environmental disaster prosecuted by his cardboard villains from yesteryear who most discourteously declined to destroy the world, or at least, if Noam is to be believed, now intend to do so another way. The fall of the Berlin Wall defied him, as did the fall of the Soviet Union, China's capitalist turn, and now progress in Korea defies him as well. Fortunately for him, the Trump administration has opened hiring up such that he can still manage a job as a Walmart greeter.

Sad, though. It happened to Bertrand Russell as well: age, the failure of his "inevitable" course of history, slow senescence and a shrinking circle of intellect populated by a few hangers-on who long for the good old days. Always good for a political headline or two, to be sure. Not much else.

Chomsky is significant because he is so extreme and so toxic in his thinking, and because he is revered by 100% of leftists. He lets you see what leftists really believe. What’s interesting here is I don’t recall Chomsky expressing his fear of Christianity so openly before. The lefties are really letting it all hang out these days.

Why would an "anarchist" be for "organized human life?"

Why does an atheist materialist, who believes all reality is meaningless, care what happens to the human race??

“Huge media support” means ten percent of MSM stories are positive toward Trump. Chomsky’s off his rocker.

I note he gave this speech at a college that is named for a Catholic saint.
