FULL TITLE: Woman lashes out at female morality police after they try to force her to wear a hijab on Iranian subway - and tells them: 'I wear whatever I like!'

This is the remarkable moment a defiant woman fights back against Iran's stringent Morality Police after they confronted her about her clothes.

The unnamed woman was caught on camera taking a stand against a gang of agents at the Darzaveh Zowlat metro station in Tehran, Iran.

In the footage she can be seen booting one of three hijab-wearing policewomen after they took issue with her western clothing.

'I will wear whatever I like. It's none of your business. You aren't my parents,' she says in the clip as she chases them down the platform.

Yup. Hopefully it becomes a torrent. I’ve had Iranian friends for years and to the last one, they’re great people and they hate their government.

I wouldn’t have kicked unless they physically attacked me. I wouldn’t loss my cool. I would certainly make clear they back off however. This attitude and action of resistance to me is what true feminism is. Where are the ‘femi nazis’ over this? Probably sticking up for the morality police.

This kind of thing has happened before, 2009-2010, but then the government starts hanging people from lightposts and cranes and it goes away.

Yes. It’s true. West LA (particularly Beverly Hills) and also so great friends that own several interior design stores in southern California have families and lineage from Iran. Some make visits home and show me pictures of some of the incredible places. They are wonderful, interesting, and regular people with often rich and interesting family histories like many Americans. I would love for it to become a torrent as you mentioned.

Ha! Still waking up here. I meant to say there are a lot of people in Beverly Hills and West LA from Iran. Great people!

Meanwhile, the CEO of Twitter bends the knee to liberal thought police and apologizes for eating at Chick-fil-a.

Also in my talks with many of my local Iranian American friends and colleagues, not only have I noticed how well informed and strongly opinionated they are. But they are so in a 'conservative' political point of view. Very much against political corruption and supportive of free markets etc. But refreshingly intelligent and clearly great capitalists with a strong moral compass.

Yeah, but the people of Iran during that time had the Obama Infestation working against their interests. I think they have a friend in President Trump.

The few Iranians I’ve known have been great folks — usually quite talented and grateful to be here. The Zoroastrians are especially interesting, but they’re pretty rare. Iranians will often call themselves “Persians” in order to distance themselves from the nation dominated by goofball mullahs. Similarly, Syrians and Iraqis, especially Christians, will refer to themselves “Assyrian.”

If the drip does become a torrent, let’s hope our government helps with the waterworks. Recent administrations have done little to encourage the good people of Iran to liberate themselves. And of course the Obama/Jarrett administration actively encouraged the barbarous mullahs.

The Iranian women students here on campus refuse to wear the hijab. They will only wear it if they think pictures could make it home.

If Hillary and Chelsea Hubbell are willing to wear the hijab, this woman should too. /s

Great points. And I love the Assyrian identity. I had never thought of that history before and its relationship to that area. But makes sense. And you're right on about calling themselves Persian. Also understandable.

I too have been very blessed to know some really wonderful people from all of these areas (except Syria--well Steve Jobs lol--but I never KNEW him. ;D) I met some really wonderful taxi drivers when visiting Nashville. Since I had to take several taxis a day to where I was going and throughout the week I stayed I got to know a few of them very well. Really caring, kind, and thoughtful people and I loved talking with them about there families and stories (a few were Kurds from Northern Iraq). I also know a few Coptic Christians originally from Egypt. Very conservative, funny, wonderful, hard working, faithful people.

We are so blessed here in America with a rich diversity of good quality people who adapt to our culture while bringing the richness of their own.

I also know a few people from the UK that had a hell of of time trying to get citizenship that are very productive business owners today. It took years and they never knew how it was going to turn out. They were so grateful to earn and receive their citizenship. Certainly didn't take it for granted. In southern California this really stands out to me when I see so many that don't speak English, that are not citizens of our country nor trying to be, and that believe they have a right to be here. So many others from other countries do just the opposite and are very grateful and productive Americans.

/rant. lol ;D Thanks for your post. :D

Zoroastrians worship Zorro, right? You don’t see many of them outside of a ziggurat these days. Easily recognizable though from the black capes and masks.

I’m sure she’ll get a lot of support from American liberals.

That was taken at Shakey's Pizza that time Arafat stole the tablecloth and he, the Clintons, and Howdy Doody almost got arrested. Good thing they were in "pay to play" Chicago, and bribed their way out of it.

Yep, show them pictures of Iran pre-and-post Shah, and let them see for themselves.

It was modern and clean. Now it looks like a 3rd world country.
