The university claims that McAdams' blog post made the instructor Abbate "the target of a torrent of abusive communications that led her to fear for her safety and ultimately to leave Marquette in the middle of the academic year." So she feared for her safety. Tough! Has she been asked to leave a restaurant or bar? Has she been harassed or assaulted in public? Does she have protestors at her home shouting and chanting slogans? I have zero sympathy for these people that get the same treatment that conservatives get all the time.
