Homosexuals trading in identity politics are the newest breed of hostile scoffers: they don’t enter the Kingdom and they try to use what influence they’ve got prevent others from entering the Kingdom.
It isn’t just that we tell them that they need to repent, because that would be in their little hearts just us judging them and who are we to judge them? No, it’s when we say that they can repent that really offends them because doing that puts it squarely on their own shoulders that they don’t.
That’s the function of the whole born this way guff, they make it out to be involuntary, but it is voluntary. What they choose to believe is that a confused state of mind arising out of the irrational process of youth represent facts. What they choose is to believe that God is to blame for their lusts and yet by demanding repentance isn’t possible they make their sin out to be bigger than God.
But they are slaves to their sin, and they in their hearts are bowing down to it as a squatter on the throne of their hearts, serving their sin, protecting their sin, loving their sin.
Yes, Paul clearly indicated that repentance is possible when he, immediately after listing off who will not enter the Kingdom, followed up by saying such were some of you.
But for those who steadfastly remain in the such are you still category till the end, who refuse to repent, there will be no hope, just Hell to pay.
