Europe has come full circle now.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables

If they're not having lutefisk suppers like the Lutherans, they'll have converts lined up at the gate.

There might be a reason for that...

“Neopagans in Iceland Will Build the First Temple to Thor and Odin in 1000 Years”

I have a temple for Thor and Odin...I call it a bar. Danish wife loves it too on behalf of her ancestors.

Did they do it properly with nine men hung as a human sacrifice?

No?

Then they are posers.

Well, the Norse religion existed already in 500 BC, and probably goes back another 1,000 years prior to that. Norse Text and poetry already existed as the Old Testament was being put into being.

Odin demands blood sacrifices. A new age of Christian martyrdom is coming.

Religion and culture are inextricably intertwined. One benefits the other. Or, in the case of devil worship and most pagan religions, the one does not benefit the other, but worship subtracts from the successes of the culture. If one went with, say, Christianity, one would participate in the most successful civilizational model in human history. If someone participates in any other religion, one not only doesn’t benefit the larger culture, but at best gets along with it, and at worst, destroys it. Why would anyone, witnessing two thousand years of success, support a different civilizational model?

I will take a shot at answering the question. Governments, by policy and laws, have made Christianity unfashionable. They have done this because they, governments, want to replace the worship of Christ with the worship of government.

The “temple” looks like a café at a zoo. Somehow appropriate.

Nope.

It is nearly as bad as those fops prancing around in their mom's bed sheets acting like they are actual Greek pagans or worse those that claim to be druids.

The real article would have twined their sensitive guts on a cleft stick faster then the fakes could order a soy latte.
