We were going to name her Victoria Anne, but then there was a rash of Victorias among our coworkers. Josephine, my husband’s Sicilian stepmother’s name, is much less common.
All our daughters have uncommon but not weird names - Josephine, Eleanor, Sabina, Kathleen- while the boys are “Dare to be dull,” William, Thomas, Patrick, James, Daniel, Frank.
My children’s names all start with J — guess that’s all the further I knew the alphabet. No, I wanted a John named after my favorite uncle, John. Then my sister in law named all her children starting with the letter K. Go figure!
