That’s not my belief. Mr. Alaska Erik told me in a previous comment that this was the case. When i asked for details he didnt respond further.

I seem to remember the “blackmail” had to do with the Vatican Bank and its ability to do transactions. It was shut down a few days before the Holy Father’s resignation, then came back up the day after. At any rate, Benedict seems to have been forced out, which makes his “resignation” invalid.

That OR he was going to clean it out with Cardinal Burk, and was forced out by the homosexuals in the Vatican. I think Cardinal Burk was the equivalent of Attorney general of the Catholic Church.

When Francis was installed as Pope Burk was immediately demoted to some figured head position!

Benedict knew about McCarrick, and severely sanctioned him. Bergoglio lifted those sanctions.

There is no saving the catholic church because there is no mechanism in place for the laity to remove a pope and all the minions he has installed. There will be flying unicorns and ice skating in Hell before the homosexual/pedophile mafia change their ways.
