It’s really not that often one can say with certainty that we witnessed history being made at a specific moment, but Saturday brought such an occasion with a Vatican announcement that Pope Francis had accepted the resignation of Cardinal Theodore McCarrick from the College of Cardinals.
It’s an unprecedented move in the United States, the first time an American cardinal has ever renounced his red hat, and it’s the first time anywhere in the world has exited the college altogether facing accusations of sexual abuse. It is, therefore, the most tangible confirmation to date from Francis that when he says “zero tolerance,” he means everybody.
Pathetic.
I’ll believe in zero tolerance when someone resigns who isn’t already in the news. Getting rid of accused clergy is just cutting dead weight.

The Pope should summoned McCarrick to Rome and in a the old bell, book and candle ritual publically excommunicate him. Then the Pope should summon exorcists in every diocese in the Church to perform exorcisms to rid the Church of the demonic evil of homosexuality. The wish washy kumbayas will not suffice to fight the evil that is devouring the Church.
This article is disgusting. Cardinal McCarrick and a ring of perverts made Francis pope, and Pope Francis covered for him to the bitter end.

It is time to buy a traditional Latin Mass missal and attend the true Catholic Church at a traditional Catholic Mass where it is common knowledge that we have not a Pope currently.
The beast that hosts “Francis” is not the Catholic Church. It is a counterfeit, predicted by, among other saintly men, Bishop Sheen.
We have a pope; he goes by the name “Benedict”.
Maybe he should start acting like a pope then...convert to Catholicism and speak up for the Truth.
You cannot even understand Benedict. He does not “stand up” for the truth like a protestant waving a Bible, or in your case a trad pounding on a Latin missal. One of his essays is 100x deeper and more helpful than most of the babblings of people superficially spouting the so-called truth.
Sorry, but “Benedict” was never a Pope to begin with, for a heretic is prohibited from filling the post by Divine law and the protection of the Holy Ghost.

Is that to say that if a wolf sneaks into a sheepfold dressed like the shepherd, and though recognized by some of the sheep who flee from him, he is thought by the majority and outsiders to be the shepherd, that he therefore is truly the shepherd?

No, I’m saying that your College Of Cardinals, your shepherds so to speak, knowingly elected him as the Infallible on Matters of Doctrine Pope.
He didn’t “sneak” in anywhere. It’s not like he broke into the Vatican and put on all those fancy clothes and declared himself pope.
