It is the 1st of the Month again, and again I have new followers to the Proverb a day posts. So I again offer my opinion of why reading a Proverb a day, one that corresponds with the day of the Month, is so important in a Christian's life.

Thank you so much for this great and knowledgable share.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, 00 But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Powerful reminder.

Again MANY thanks OneVike for posting God’s word . It truly does assist me and keeps my thoughts towards God , Jesus and the helper through the entire day . It is so easy to fall away and the simple act of reading God’s word can be the mooring everyone needs . Glory to God and his blessings to you OneVike for all that you do .

Historical TidBit....

The poets of the day–like Percy Bysshe Shelley, author of The Necessity of Atheism—were sometimes atheists.

Many were convinced that the natural world as it was being revealed by scientists like Faraday was inconsistent with a belief in God.

But Faraday himself saw no such inconsistency. He was a devout Christian—specifically a Sandemanian.

On his deathbed, he was asked, “Have you ever pondered by yourself what will be your occupation in the next world?”
His last words:“I shall be with Christ, and that is enough.”
