A relatively unpublicized and unpromoted online statement for Christians to affirm that they are defying the social justice agenda of some American churches, and rejecting values borrowed from secular culture, is surging.
Introduced only days ago, by Thursday afternoon it had nearly 5,000 signatures from individuals and groups, including churches.
The Daily Wire said the Statement on Social Justice & the Gospel even is attracting opposition, such as the criticism from Ryan Burton King, of Grace Baptist in the United Kingdom, who charged that the signers are not at all getting what those whom it primarily addresses are saying.
WND reported when the project launched that it came about in response to a move by churches, including evangelical churches, into social activism.
We are deeply concerned that values borrowed from secular culture are currently undermining Scripture in the areas of race and ethnicity, manhood and womanhood, and human sexuality, declares the statement.

The congregations need to fire the church leadership and replace it with God fearing Bible focused Christians.
“We are deeply concerned that values borrowed from secular culture are currently undermining Scripture in the areas of race and ethnicity, manhood and womanhood, and human sexuality, declares the statement.”
I tend to strongly agree with that and I also believe that this attack (and that is what it is IMO) is also straight out of hell.

I signed it last night. I urge everyone to do so. It’s a non-denominational statement of traditional Christian biblical beliefs offered as a response to the theology of racial hate the left is trying to force on the church. At least read it.
Amen and amen.
Straight out of Acts....rich men and local rulers rounding up the rabble in the market place. The rascals don’t even know why they are rioting.

Bkmrk.
About 40-50 years late.
Our UMC Social Justice policy seems to mimic the hot narratives of the day from the liberal media. It bounces around like a pinball. By the time they come up with a book study, the narrative has disappeared and something has taken its place.
That, unfortunately, includes the Roman Catholic Church.
I will be a traditional Catholic until I die. Christianity and secular moral and ethical basic principles have never been in conflict, and I choose to practice a human faith. But I realize that the church for the last few generations have been ruled by imperfect men.
Militancy has never been my thing. Certainly not in matters concerning faith and morals.
Establishment Politics and social engineering more in practice indistinguishable from Marxism can just putter along without me.
The introduction of tribal hate (or any "hate"-divisive tribal issue) into a religious topic guarantees that I will never sign any form of agreement.
The concept of "hate" as a word has been hijacked by perverts and other social misfits and I will always reject playing that game.
The words “ racial hate” was my characterization of the SJ theology that the left is trying to put into the church. I believe it is accurate. The statement does not contain this word and is merely a reaffirmation of basic biblical principles in response to this heterodox theology. I would urge you to read the statement and listen to the James White broadcast I provided a link to.

See post 8 above.
Thank you
It is straight from the pit of hell.
We should all be on our knees over what is happening.

It is long (thought-provoking), so a long drive on a straight road is advised. :)
