Question: Do you think PA District Attorney Josh Shapiro is a friend of the Catholic Church? Remnant Underground's Michael J. Matt not only steps outside the box but also smashes it to bits as he analyses what's really going on with the clerical sex abuse crisis.

What is the Viganò Effect? How do Vatican II and the New Mass come into this? With the Catholic Church clearly occupied, should faithful Catholics just join the lynch mob? What's a faithful Catholic to do? There's more to this...much more. Watch this video and share it far and wide.

So Matt says that the only choice for Catholics is to be traditional Catholics. However, there are a number of organizations which call themselves traditionally Catholic and yet they disagree with one another.

Also, just being traditional Catholic may not be enough. A good traditional Catholic could just go to Mass and pray. Why shouldn't they also do something to actively oppose the gay mafia in the Church.

Matt seems to be suggesting that being too proactive could play into the hands of those who want to destroy the Church entirely. So where does one draw the line?

This video provides more questions than answers.

Thanks for the link. I watched five minutes of the 9/15 video by Matt. Not helpful.

I started reading the Wanderer newspaper in 1985 and always hope the Wanderer would improve my understanding of church politics. Nope. Not helpful.

Pope John Paul II’s “Centisiumus Annus (1991) and Pope Benedict XVI’s “Deus Caritas Est” (2006) are still the best strategies for global politics and church life.

Matt rejects both documents. Not helpful.

No crisis that a good house cleaning would not cure:
1. Francis, the “who am I to judge” Pope must resign.
2. The College of Cardinals should immediately ask Benedict to come out of retirement.
3. Benedict must dismiss the College of Cardinals and begin the process of selecting a new one.
4. Benedict should relinquish all Church documents related to abusive and homosexual priests to appropriate civiian legal authorities and ask they launch full scale investigations.
5. LTCFWTM....the Church will be better for it.

Pope Benedict XVI didn’t retire, he abdicated. He would have to be re-elected by the Cardinals. As much as I would like to see him back, myself, I doubt very much that it would happen.
