Lord Jesus Christ,
We come to you with the understanding that You know far better than we that the world wasn’t made for hatred and discord.....but we’re seeing much of that throughout these weeks of Judge Kavennough’s Confirmation and the attacks against it. We feel we’re at war with the very people who should be for this country.... that those in power who can and should stand against this are not sufficiently doing so as these attacks continue unabated.....and often times appear enabled by those who we elected to stand against this.
Lord we therefore ask you, not as someone distant and aloof, but as someone near to us, even in the midst of all this chaos to stand against it all by the very power of your name Jesus....You are the sovereign ruler, the mover of mountains, the victor of impossible victories...You are Lord over all...There is nothing you can not do...So we pray that you bring an end to this hatred and discord.....that you steady the feet that of those that need it and guide all those in positions of power-give them wisdom to use their power wisely...and this for your glory and honor, that your purposes and will will be done.....
