What distinguishes Judaism from Christianity is the Christian claim that God became man. (Oops now I’ve probably started another useless 1000+ post “debate” about the Trinity, oh well I won’t be wasting my time on that).
Anyway, *that* is what distinguishes Christianity from Judaism, not to mention every other religion on the planet. Not that God is Love.
I could be wrong and the Jewish FReepers can correct me if so (and should do so if I’m wrong) but I’m pretty sure the Jews believe/d God is the essence of love long before Christ came on the scene. In fact I’d argue that’s what separates them (and us) from the Muslims. They don’t believe He loves at all, rather that He is some vengeful diety who only wants to set up some world government under Islam, by force. Again, as far as I understand.

Well this topic is a personal obsession for me. Hagee is a nut who believes in “dual covenant theory”. It’s a lie from the pit of hell. Every honest person looking for answers will find it - Matthew 7:7 & Jeremiah 29:13. Jews who seek will find it as well.
All Christianity is, is the extension of Judaism. Sure Jews will say absolutely not, but if you look at the blood trail that history & the Bible shows, the enemy of both Christianity and Israel is the devil and he wants both annihilated completely.
Every Empire that has ever existed with Jews within their sphere of influence has wanted them eradicated & destroyed. Same with early Christianity until the fire of faith took over the evil hearts of men, though that pattern has reversed as of late.
Every single early Christian in the early Church was a Jew.

Interesting little stat that most people don’t know is that the greatest percentage of Evangelical converts over the past 30 years or so doesn’t come from the Roman Catholic Church or Islam, but from Jews who are now Messianic Jews.
God is faithful to His remnant (and there has always been a remnant of Jewish believers in Christ since the first century).
