Isaiah had a vision of the final end of the World. The issue which eventually engulfs every nation into the final cataclysm , is called the Controversy of Zion.
The center of the earth is Israel, the center of Israel is Jerusalem, (the city of the great King) and the center of Jerusalem is a piece of contested real estate called MT Zion, the place on which the temple of God once stood.
Israel was banished from the land God gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, for two millennia in fulfillment of the warnings given by Moses in the Song of Moses (Deuteronomy 32).
In May 1948, a miracle occurred, the nation of Israel was “born in one day” after two thousand years of exile, pogram, persecution and constantly frustrated desire for assimilation and acceptance in the Gentile lands which the Jews were exiled to. The bones which Ezekiel had seen in a vision, 2500 years earlier, were coming together, and the flesh was attaching itself to those bones.
Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. ( Ezekiel 37:4-8)
To we who believe in the Prophets, this is a marvelous thing which the LORD has done, and it is a sign post of the truth of all of the Prophets and of the end of the World which has come upon us.
But there are other perspectives on this event also. To the Muslim Arab world ,it is AL Naqba, the disaster. The existence of Israel is an affront to the religion of Islam, among other things because Islam teaches that any real estate held at one time by Muslims, must remain Islamic forever.
Furthermore,Islam teaches that the last day(the resurrection) cannot occur until the Muslims wipe out each and every Jew.
“The Day of Judgement will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.” (related by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

The re-emergence of Israel is a problem to the West also which depends upon an easy, unhindered flow of oil, and doesn’t want to involve itself in any controversy between Jacob and Esau.
How far will the West go to appease Islam and the Arabs?
The UN has designated Jerusalem as a universal city, and not the capitol of Israel. It has also officially divided Israel into two halves, “East Jerusalem” which it has designated as a Palestinian capital, and West Jerusalem. UNESCO has recently announced the tombs of the Patriarchs (Abraham Isaac,Jacob, Sarai, Rebeccah, and Leah) to be Islamic holy sites, and not Jewish. They also included in this desecration the tomb of Rachel in Bethlehem. The Secretary of State John Kerry has recently affirmed that the temple Mount is “off-limits” to Jews who would want to pray there, for only “Muslims may pray on the temple mount. The entire UN recently voted to remove sanctions from Iran, a nation which has un-repentedly vowed to wipe Israel off of the map! Israel is being repeatedly “Boycotted,Divested, and Sanctioned”, by an ever increasing number of members of the “world community”. In spite of rivers of blood flowing in the streets of western countries now, ISlam is the religious flavor of the day and millions of Islamic “Refugees” are re-making the demographic make up of Europe and the western world.The World is looking away, in the meantime, as millions of Christians and Jews are being killed with impunity by Muslims.
A Controversy is brewing between the “Kings of the Earth and their Rulers” and the LORD Himself. Where will it end? Red Isaiah 34 and tremble.
ISAIAH 34
1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
The World is being drawn into a maelstrom of horror, as a judgement of a Holy God is finally expressed. Our leaders are openly resisting everything that is a heritage of our once Judeo Christian world, and trading away the civil society that came as a result of it. Gone is marriage, gender roles, Christian ethics and justice. What will fill the vacuum?
How will we remove the stain upon our societies left by abortion, gay marriage, the exportation of pornography, and now the persecution of Christians and Jews?
Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
The Revelation given to John tells us that a quarter of the earth will die violently. The “hosts of heaven” i.e. the old social order collapses, every institution once trusted is proven false and all of the old verities dissolve. The center no longer holds, for those without anchor in God.
For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
Wrath is coming to Edom especially, which are the people of Esau, Jacob’s enraged twin, who despises his brother and lusts for his birthright. These are the near neighbors of Israel, the so-called “Palestinians”, the ones who take up the grudge of Esau, (called the “Everlasting hatred” in Ezekiel 35). Islam has become the custodian and nurturer of this hatred of Jews, Christians and the God of the Jews.
Ezekiel and Obadiah saw the same battle Isaiah saw;
Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end: Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.(Ezekiel 35:5-6)
The wrath is centered in Bozrah, for there the Muslim sons of Esau shall round up a considerable amount of Jewish captives, to prepare a final slaughter. It is to Bozrah in Southern Jordan that the Messiah will return to personally make war on his enemies and rescue his people.
Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the wine fat? I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.(Isaiah 63:1-4)
All of the mass Killings, the evil glee of whole towns and cities over attacks and slaughter of innocents, the passing out of candies and jubilation when women and children are cut down by terrorists; are about to be answered for by Edom.
The “Palestinians” have named streets after child murderers, and honored bloody and deceitful men. Wouldn’t the God of Israel regard this?
