WASHINGTON, D.C., November 7, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) Vatican consultant and homosexual activist priest Fr. James Martin stated at a recent conference that Pope Francis has gone out of his way to appoint gay-friendly bishops and cardinals in the Catholic Church.
Speaking at the Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice 2018 in Washington D.C. on Saturday evening, the Jesuit priest and America magazine editor-at-large told students that things are changing in the Church regarding homosexuality under Francis watch.
...Just look at what has happened in the last five years--since Pope Francis has been elected, he said.
First of all, Pope Franciss comments about LGBT people like Who am I to judge. His five most famous words were in response to questions about gay people, right? Hes the first pope to use the word gay, you know, in a sentence, Martin continued.
Martin emphasized Pope Franciss relationships with people who identify as LGBT. He pointed out how the Pope has appointed bishops and cardinals who support the homosexual agenda.
He has gay friends. Hes talked about wanting gay people to feel welcome in the Church. Thats a big deal. He has also appointed gay-friendly bishops and archbishops and cardinals, like Cardinal Tobin, the archbishop of Newark who, for example, held a Welcome Mass for LGBT people in his Cathedral
So thats one trend, Martin said.

Can the laity overthrow the Pope? I’m all for that.
Marxist Pope meets with Michael Moore and they agree capitalism is evil and Jesus was a communist. Pope then learns from Moore that best way to achieve communist revolution is to destroy the family by encouraging gay rights and gay marriage. Moore forgets to tell Papem that you also have to make Jesus a gay man and eliminate that “son of God” thing. That comes next week when he meets with Barack. Obama will also let Pope know their is no “god” but allah.
They were in response to questions about a sex offender Francis let off the hook.
I’m all for God overthrowing him.
Thank God for the Reformation.
There is no question that this man is out there! Father Martin should be removed as a Catholic priest. He is preaching things adverse to Catholic theology. Homosexual people have made a choice to live a lifestyle that is a continual sin. That is different from a person who makes a simple mistake. LBGT people are continuously choosing to live that way are continuing to sin. Why should the Church do anything to accommodate them? The biggest thing though is to remove Father Martin from the Catholic priesthood.
I am of the opinion that homosexuality and pedophila in the church could potentially be the abomination of desolation mention in Matthew 24
God is not mocked. Real Christian doctrine is Biblical.
Yeah, horay for the Reformation! The Reformation Churches — Anglicans, Lutherans and Methodists -— are so far ahead of us benighted Catholics, they now have married lesbian bishops!!
I’m for that. He needs to be laicized, and -— if he continues in obstinate heresy -— excommunicated. For the sake of his own repentance, well-being and redemption.
Thank you, Mrs Don-o. I am also sure that no protestant pastor anywhere has ever molested a child.
Are you speaking of Martin or Bergoglio? :)
It’s a brilliant strategy. Normalize homosexual behavior and the horror over sexual predation in the Church fades away.
I believed that the Catholic Church would outlast any scandal. However, this one is worrysome.
The interesting thing is that I had never harbored any negative feelings about gays.
Until now.
Prayers for the Church!

PIUS,BISHOP
Servant of the Servants of God: For perpetual memory
That horrendous crime, for which polluted and filthy cities were burned by the frightful judgment of God, pains Us most bitterly, and gravely stirs our soul, so that, insofar as it is possible, we might strive to crush it.
§ I. It is reasonably established in the [Third] Lateran Council that any Clerics who are discovered in that act of incontinence that is against nature, because of which the wrath of God came upon the children of unbelief, should be expelled from the clergy, or be cast into monasteries for the purpose of doing penance.
§ 2. However, lest the contagion of such a disgrace, from the hope of impunity which is the greatest incentive to sin strengthen in boldness, we have decided that the clerics who are guilty of this nefarious crime are to be more gravely punished, so that the avenger of the civil laws, the secular sword, might certainly deter those who do not fear the death of the soul.
§ 3. And therefore, seeking to more completely and forcefully pursue what We already decreed regarding this matter at the beginning of our Pontificate, any and all priests and other secular and regular Clergy of whatever grade and dignity who practice such a dire sin we deprive of every clerical privilege, and of every Ecclesiastical office, dignity, and benefit, by the authority of the present canon. So that, having been degraded by Ecclesiastical Judgment, they may be handed over to the secular power, which may exact from them that same punishment that is received by laity who have fallen into this ruin, which is found to be constituted in legitimate ordinances.
(The Nulli ergo is a reference to a standard clause following many papal bulls that read, roughly, as follows: Let no one whosoever infringe this page of our declaration or to dare to oppose it. It is normally followed by the Si quis clause, which reads, If, however, anyone attempts to do so, let him know that he will incur the wrath of Almighty God and of his holy Apostles Peter and Paul. Often only the first two words of the clause are given in reference works like the Magnum Bullarium Romanum, followed by etc.)
Given at St. Peters in Rome, in the year of the incarnation of the Lord 1568, on the third Kalends of September (August 30), in the third year of our Pontificate.
Dear Holy Father, Please do not try to change the moral teachings of the Church. Thank you.
I never read them; they land in my suspect file. He claims to have taken in a Honduran refugee, that it was no big deal, in the latest tweet. Then there is other stuff on there, mentions the magazine, has to be the same one. A link to a video where somebody thinks he is kissing a Sharna (host of some show?) in the background.
Something just clicked tonight. I only subscribed to a couple way back when and then decided it wasn't my thing, Twitter not the music. Winter Risen is one book. Another is Song of the Lamb. But they are written by Bob Fabing, SJ. I loved playing them on my keyboard.
Well, whatever.
I’m Catholic. This Pope is doing his own gay reformation. Can’t want that.
