If your father is a muslim you’re born a muslim. I believe that these are the so called “moderate muslims”, which simply means that they don’t know the blasphemous teachings or really care. Those that read the book and take it to heart are all bloodthirsty savages with rare exceptions.

I guess he saw some lamb in their teeth and needed something to pick it out. Most Christians do not even know this verse exists. I always ask them then if they were so peaceful how did they get the sword to chop the soldier’s ear off? Or for that matter why would they have one? They can never answer the question.
Jesus said to love thy enemy (to have compassion and mercy for your enemy, after he surrenders) but he did not say lay down and die for your enemy.
This has been proven wrong so many times in the last 18 years. They claimed to have 1.2 billion in 2005. In 13 years they gained a half billion? Fast compared to what, a snail on salt?
The flaws found within the statistics included comparing Islam to individual denominations of Christianity and declaring it was faster. Not all denominations of Christianity are Christian but are lumped into the overall numbers to bring the Christian average down. For example, the hari krisnas were lumped together with the Christians. the group is anything but,

Don’t know about Africa specifically - just that by 2050 there will be more Christians in China than the rest of the world combined - includes African Christians by inference.

Christianity definitely is “religion,” and that is not a good thing! All “Religion” stands in defiance of Yehova and his “Perfect Law of Liberty.”
Muslims only remain Muslim because they are under threat of death should they attempt to leave throughout much of the world. The risk of leaving is somewhat less in the United States, because of basic non-interference with religion written into the US Federal code does give those who leave some protection, and crimes committed (murder, mutilation, crimes against property) are prosecuted (sometimes) without regard to the religious affiliation of the perpetrator.
Other countries have incorporated Sharia law into their codes, which means that crimes like apostasy and blasphemy against Islam may be and are prosecuted with the full weight of the host country. Honor killings and persecution by suppression of religious expression are overlooked when the interaction is Muslim on Muslim.
