Pro-LGBT Catholic Prof: Many German Bishops Donít Believe Homosexual Acts Are Wrong
LifeSite News ^ | 12/5/18 | Maike Hickson

December 5, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – A Catholic German ethics professor calls Cardinal Müller's recent remarks on homosexuality “unbearable” and claims that, just as the Church's teaching on the death penalty has changed, the teaching on homosexuality is also open to change.

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, the former Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), has been under constant sharp criticism since his 21 November interview with LifeSiteNews, in which he had drawn a link between homosexuality and clerical sex abuse.

Several prominent Catholics – among them Father Klaus Mertes, Father Ansgar Wucherpfennig, General Vicar Klaus Pfeffer – have expressed their indignation over the German Cardinal's re-stating of the Church's traditional teaching on the immorality of homosexual acts; and they all have in common that they desire to normalize the practice of homosexuality. Moreover, these clergymen are now supportively joined by Professor Gerhard Kruip, who teaches at the University of Mainz, Germany.

In his 29 November article, Professor Kruip calls Cardinal Müller's words “unbearable” and refers to Pope Francis' post-synodal exhortation Amoris Laetitia (AL) as a proof that the Church has now learned to regard sexuality in general in a more positive manner. Quoting AL 152 which states that the “erotic dimension” of love is a “gift from God,” and then contrasting it with the current Catechism's claim that selfish lust is “disordered” (no. 2351), the Catholic theologian and ethicist sweepingly concludes that the Church is changing her views on sexuality: that “the Church obviously has learned something more, and that she now obviously regards the lust that is accompanying it in a more positive manner.”

I was brought up Catholic, when all sex outside of marriage was a sin.

Golly, there’s that darn word, “Professor” again....
I can remember a day when that word commanded respect, intelligence, etc. Libs, like everything they touch, have destroyed it.
Libs are now working hard to totally destroy the Church.

I guess that makes them all heretics.

I was brought up Catholic, when all sex outside of marriage was a sin.

It still is, however we are now living in days of lawlessness.

In order to have lawlessness the only thing that has to take place is for the law to be ignored.

God never forgets about His law.

From the article

That Council heralded a great pastoral reform to purify the Church, and instead resulted in a historically unprecedented corruption of faith and morals, for it has reached the point of not only enthroning homosexuality among the highest ecclesiastical hierarchies, but also of allowing it to be publicly defended and theorized.”

Sims it up perfetly.

These days way too many folks’ idea of freedom seems to rise no higher than someone’s crotch. People who lust to have government manage every nuance of life often seem to hold sexual escapades as the main no touch exception to their love of government. Likewise with anything that helps there to be more sex without consequences, like abortion on demand.

When they welcomed the poofters into the clergy the church started a downward spiral culminating in Frankie the Marxist.

The Catholic Church ‘regards the lust that is accompanying it in a more positive manner’

Almost every week I read something that makes me shudder for what it means for Western Culture.

Here it is just Sunday and here is this verbal excrement from Profezzor Flautengaz.

I guess he's then going to find standing before God on Judgment Day *unbearable* too.

German Bishops Don’t Believe Homosexual Acts Are Wrong

I'm not a Catholic, but that's a shame. How do these Bishops explain the Bible's many warnings against homosexual acts?

I thought “Go forth and multiply” came from a math book. Does it actually come from the Bible. How do LGBSTRQ folks multiply?

“Pro-LGBT Catholic prof: Many German bishops don’t believe homosexual acts are wrong”

Is this be a surprise to anyone?

https://youtu.be/SQKfJeikTic

If you read about the ‘mystery Babylon’ in Revelations and put that together with what this Pope Francis has been doing I personally am convinced Vatican City is Babylon of the End Times.

Look at the riches and power this one branch of ‘Christianity’ owns and controls. How many religious artifacts has the Catholic church run and grabbed and then spirited away to be locked in their vaults and hidden from the rest of us.

I don’t think the Catholic Church is a very good representation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He came with no material thing, owned no material thing and took no material things with him. Yet the Catholic Church is all about material things, greed, power and pushing Satan’s messages.

I’m afraid the only way to cut off the serpent’s head is to walk away from it so that they lose power. Unfortunately that’s up to the Catholic congregation to figure all this out and who knows maybe there are those that flock there because of the churches acceptance of this behavior.
