(Romans 1: 18-32 God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity) The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—Who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
(John 3:16) For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
(Romans 6:22) But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
Heavenly Father, All-Powerful, All-Knowing, Ever-Present God, The Eternal “I AM”,
We come into Your Holy Presence in corporate prayer for the United States of America and her people. Your Word (Romans 1:18-32) describes our country’s situation. We are in the midst of putting monetary and socialistic band-aids on our country’s festering sin problems. Many elected officials and their aides as well as judges have imposed their self-indulgence and personal agendas upon the citizens of this country without seeking Your Will and Guidance. There is no fear of God being taught or enacted in the churches.
As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we know the answers to life . . .it is there for all to see in Your Holy Spirit-inspired Word. . .You have provided us a “Blueprint for Living” as well as the ramifications for not heeding Your Word. We are living in troubling and sad times, Lord. We pray for the protection and encouragement of President Trump and Vice-President Pence and their families as well as all those in this country standing for righteousness.
All is for naught unless the leaders and citizens of this country repent and turn from their evil ways. Lord, unmask and reveal those who are practicing evil and those who have evil intent. Please provide a source of justice. Shake this country into the realization that WITHOUT YOU WE ARE NOTHING AND CAN DO NOTHING.
There is an increasing number of disturbing acts of violence around the world. We pray that through such turmoil Jesus is recognized and shown as LIFE’S ONLY ANSWER. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem . . .and that the United States of America will stand firm in its support of Israel.
You tell us in Your Word to be ready. . .that we will not know the day or the hour of Christ’s return but to watch for the signs. Help us to be diligent and approved workers for Your Kingdom and Glory. Please Holy Spirit instill in us a burden for the lost. We ask for daily Divine appointments. . .Have Your Way in our testimony. Thank You for Your continued watch and care over us. TO YOU BE ALL HONOR AND GLORY. In the Precious Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray, Amen

We can also pray for Him to draw men to Christ and remove the spiritual blindness from the unbelievers that Satan has imposed on them. ( 2 Corinthians 4:4, John 12:32)
