A Thief In The Night is the first in a four part series of a Biblical Prophecy Evangelical production. The central focus of the series is the difficulties faced when the main characters of the film wake up to find that they've missed out on the rapture and find themselves left behind. The world then implements the mark of the beast prophesied in Rev: chapter 13. Perhaps you've never been told of this in church. If you've always been curious of the rapture and the great tribulation, I highly recommend this series.

While this is not a high budget film series, it is well worth watching and is said to have been viewed through the years over 300 million times.

Can’t say as I’ve ever heard of the movie Risky Business.
These events will follow a prophesied seven year peace treaty signed between Israel and the antichrist.
These prophecies are stated in various Scriptures and can be found in:
Daniel 9:24-27
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
For those who are unfamiliar with Bible Prophecy, the signing of this 7yr peace treaty, will trigger the events known as the rapture, and will ultimately lead to the prophesied mark of the beast:
Revelation 13:15-18
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
At the end of this seven years will come the battle of Armageddon to Israel consisting of 200 million soldiers:
Revelation 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
The Battle of Armageddon will end with the return of Jesus Christ and His Church returning back to Earth where He will then be recognized by Israel as their Messiah.
Then Jesus will set up His headquarters in the New Jerusalem. At that point the Kingdom Age of Jesus’ Millennial reign will then begin.

I wonder if a different link would work better. Try searching for “A thief in the night” on a different link to youtube. There was a period of time when it was constantly taken down every time it was posted on youtube so I bought the series.
If you’ve never seen it before it really does cause a person to look at Biblical Prophecy in an entirely different perspective. Especially given the nature of events unfolding in the Middle East.

As your viewing this Prophecy film, I just thought I would point out the fact that on Drudge right now, is an article dealing with legislation in Sweden over a cashless society.
I saw a Thief in the Night in church when I was a kid... Not sure exactly what year, but I turned 7 in 1972... I would have guessed more like 10 years old.
I remembered the title recently and went and found it on youtube and watched it. I was surprised that I remembered so much of the movie for being 40+ years ago! I don’t ever remember a time in my life I doubted in God or the bible, what I remembered of it that is, I read some of the old testament and all of the new as a kid, but I did not do much reading of the bible either until more recently... Since the internet, I got lazy and usually just searched “what does the bible say about ‘X’ “. I have not been a regular church goer either since I moved away for tech school after graduating high school, but we are looking for a good one to start going to now after going to church with my mom via the internet for a few months now, where his Sunday sermons are the bible study we need in our lives.
Organized religion as a whole is what I found that I have a problem with... From my point of view, the vast majority of them are leading people away from God and what the bible says... by telling their followers it does not really mean what it says. Exactly as this movie from 47 years ago showed.
Don’t take that wrong, I know there are many good churches out there, but it is my belief, they are the ones that focus on bible study and not preaching that virtually everybody will go to heaven if they just live a good life and don’t worry about what the bible actually teaches us, because we have evolved since that old book was written.

Yes, you and I see things very similar. Shortly after I became Born Again I attended a home fellowship Bible study. As I grew in the Word of God, I soon learned that due to persecution, the Apostle Paul also shared the good news from home to home. His biggest opposition were the religious sect.
When I first read Acts chapter 7, I recognized the spirit that stoned Stephen. In these last days of the Church Age that spirit is becoming worse.

Over the past 2000 years, life was relatively the same until the last century when inventions really came to change modern life style. Especially in these last days and this current generation. Knowledge in all phases is growing fast. The times of the end are sure to come to pass soon.
As for the format on uploads on youtube, I’m not up to speed on that, although perhaps the rules allow it with a premium subscription. Big tech always seems to look the other way if there is more money in it for them.

The link you posted speaks of the scene where the Pastor is speaking with Patty, and that is so true. I wish that discussion was more common today, but it seems to have been silenced.
