The Bernardin accusations are an absolute powder keg. Not only is he the AmChurch pin-up boy but it appears as if the Papal household knew of these accusations. This has the potential to make the McCarrick episode look insignificant.

You've got it exactly backwards. The Church will emerge from this crisis purified and more beautiful. It will become, once again, the light of the world.

As long as faith still exists, as long as there are people who still hold to the truth, the Catholic Church will endure until Jesus comes again. It may go to the catacombs, it may disappear from view, the hierarchy may be in jail and all its churches shuttered and confiscated but the faith will be preserved and it will rise again, as Jesus rose from the dead.

It stands to reason that IF the Roman Catholic Church were *not* the target of Satan, then Holy Mother Church would not
