This is the other side of the coin. Priests will sue diocese if they are not credibly accused and convicted. At some point there’s going to be a reckoning in the USA on innocent until guilty.
Because, no one lies about rape.
I say this knowing too well of innocents being falsely charged.
Having your name cleared years later is a small comfort after the trauma of being publicly accused.
