“The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough: The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough” (Proverbs 30:15-16).

“The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough: The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough” (Proverbs 30:15-16).

“The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give,” that's all Americans say, you know. Give more! Give more! Give more! You can turn the TV on, and if it isn't the politicians, it is the preachers. Give more! Give me more! Give more and get more, just like the horseleach.

Preachers, especially these TV preachers, are constantly trying to get people to give until it hurts. They are horse leaches and blood-sucking ticks. There's a lot of truth in it. The horse leach, see, right in the middle of this business of devouring the poor as it says in verse 14, “the horseleach hath two daughters, crying Give, give.” Give to the poor, but it's the horse least getting all the blood, and then you know that old shark; he is out there and he gets himself a fish, kills that fish, and he eats that fish. But, hanging all over that shark are these little bloodsucking fish, sucking the blood out of the shark that he's getting from what he just ate.

You ought to think about. That’s what we have in America. The politicians are just sucking the blood off the income of the society.

“There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough,” there are three things that cry give, give, give and are never satisfied; and four things that are never full. What are they?

“The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.”

Now, there are four things here and briefly:

There is, first, the grave. The grave speaks of death and death just doesn't stop. Death is rampant. There is just no satisfaction to death, “the wages of sin is death.” as long as there is sin, as long as there is wickedness, death will never be satisfied. There are a few things you can get into and you're guaranteed some work, and one of them is a mortician. Your guaranteed work because people are not going to quit dying.

The grave speaks of death, the barren womb speaks of life. All advertising uses symbology and innuendos concerning the beginning of life, procreation; and life cessation. Those things produce strong emotional feelings within us. If somebody told you today that you are going to die, you would have some strong emotional feelings. Also, procreation produces strong emotional feelings.

So, advertising uses symbology associated with cessation of life and procreation of life, where you don't even realize it. It's called subliminal seduction, where they make up an ad and they'll include things in there that bring to mind beginning of life or end of life, which you don't realize, and your feelings are stimulated subconsciously. You think, “Hey, I need that product. That product makes me feel good.” No, it's what's in the ad that makes you feel like you feel, and that's called subliminal seduction, and you can find it in the books on subliminal seduction.

The Sears catalog, and J. C. Penny's catalogue, as well as others; those things are full of sexual innuendos to stimulate your feelings concerning procreation; to get you to want to buy their product. I mean the advertiser is a whole lot smarter than you think they are.

“The earth that is not filled with water,” I don't care where you go , you can have as much rain as you want; the earth will just keep soaking it up, and that's like the gospel, no matter how much gospel you put out, there is always a need for more.

“. . . the fire that saith not, It is enough,” the fire really speaks of hell, and “hell hath enlarge itself,” the Bible said. People are just dying and going to hell. For a graphic reminder of how many people have died every second, look at the death chart on this website:

www.av1611.org

“The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled,” so, what we need to do since people are dying: people need to have life. People need to get born again. How to get born again? They get born again through the gospel. And they that don't get born again, they wind up in hell.

Let’s read a chapter of Proverbs a day and see what God might have for us. As the Lord leads, share with us what God has shown you in a special way and by His grace let us build up a devotional repository. Let’s keep our knives and forks handy for some daily bread!

If anyone would like to be added to the ping list, please let me know either by post or by p.m.
