We come to you, Lord God, maker of everything and give you praise and glory and honor. We acknowledge you as the Great I Am. We humbly ask forgiveness for our sins. We as a nation have turned our heads and closed our eyes and allowed satan to get a foothold. We thank you that you still hear our prayers. We thank you that you have given us not only the privilege of asking, but you have instructed us to ask, seek, and knock.

Matthew 7:7-8 King James Version (KJV) ⁷ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: ⁸ For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Forgive us for not standing up and speaking out. Forgive us for losing our focus on you. Forgive us for not being good watchmen at the gate and for falling asleep. Thank you for those who are waking up and shinning the light on the evil that has befallen our nation. Help us, Lord, to seek you and to put on the armor of God daily. I lift up all prayer warriors and intercessors to you and ask for supernatural discernment, wisdom, and knowledge for each one.

Father, we pray for protection over President Trump, Vice President Pence, and all those on their team and in their families. We pray that anyone who is not supporting this current administrations’ values and goals are discovered and dealt with accordingly.

We firmly stand against the lies of the enemy and pray that all those lies and evil ways be exposed in our government, in our schools, in our neighborhoods, and especially in our churches. Please remove the scales from the eyes of those who cannot see, unplug their ears so they can hear, and soften their hearts so they might come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Thank you, Father God, that you have given us one more day. May we keep oil in our lamps and be ever ready watchmen at the gate. We praise you and give you all the glory for you alone are worthy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
